Campaign Marshalling merged threads

Like I said earlier, one field allowed a player to enter the field without his marker (marker too hot over the entrance chrono) and another field made us play with 6 players when a marker was running hot.

I am not 100% sure about which field applied the correct rules, but at the end of the day I don't mind as long as all fields apply the same one's!!!!

Taken from The Millenium Rules

17.6 All players whose markers have not passed the chronograph and cannot remedy on time
will be counted as eliminated and therefore inactive.

Just to correct my last post I forgot about the x-ball field - a field set up to cause problems for the marshals but they seemed to do a good job and since it was the most watched field at the event they would have been slated by now if they made many cock ups.

Here's my take on it...
Field 1. Played twice, stuffed by refs twice (got pulled for succesfully shooting a mugger)
Field 2. Not played
Field 3. Played twice and not a bad thing to say about any of them. Some good reffing.
Field 4. Well reffed (especially our game against method) Thanks guys.
Field 5. No probs with the refs at all.
Field 6. Not played. (shame as i wanted to try out those huge drums )
Field 7. found it to be slow
Field 8. Well reffed and friendly

We had no big probs with any feild but the angle one , i dont know who they were but they were crap.
They pulled a 1-4-1 on a guy who come in and muged our last 4 players as he was hit as he got up from his bunker, good call you would think but no thay pulled all 4 of our players any way saying that we were still out even though he was out .
When we pointed out that a dead player could not take out 4 live players they sudenly did not see him shoot us all out then we got the old we dont understand you.
We took this complaint to the ultmate and were told that they new they would be crap thats why no pros or am a's played that feild..
still great weekend and thanks to all the other marshells for the hard work you all put in....

Ok I wasn't going to comment on the marshalling threads as I do have a couple of issues we weren't happy with, but considering the above statement I feel I must add to this.
Player get's hit on his barrel he didn't check as he knew nothing about the 'hit'. The marshall rushes in and pulls the player, no problem with that. Player ask's where he's hit as he is oblivious to it 1-4-1'd! yep that it, 1-4-1'd for asking where he was hit, no bitching swearing or anything else.
However now it all makes sence

I didnt have a problem with any of the fields EXCEPT the judges on the Angel field THEY SUCKED BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i.e played Crossfire on there after the game they had more paint on em than we did one guy who was still in the game was covered in hits his excuse was oh there from the previous game What the fook!!!!! why was he still in the game then we were told by people watchin that we shot atleast 4 of em on the break 2 walked off eliminated the other 2 weree wiped down and put back in the game

Same game a player is in the lay down coke can fixing his marker gets shot by our tape guy on the left tape judge goes in wipes him down and helps him with his marker

Next game we play the Bandicot game goes to a 1 on 1 there last player runs up the tape our guy is in the center tags him in the pack right infront of everyone in the dead box and watchin the game he turns and shoots our player out runs the flag back they win the game we tell the judges he has been hit and our player should be reinstated there excuse for not changing the decision we didnt see the hit even tho three was a judge running up the line with him i saw it cos i was walkin back to the dead zone when he was hit right next to me and game still goes to Bandicot

i have to say it spoilt it for me and the team Killer Clowns and i know for a fact that we aint the only ones that got fooked on

It about time now that we had independant marshalling teams that dont even play paintball or are not connected to any team and get it to a standard where we dont have these problems anymore

Also i would like to see a rule where once you have registered for one team to play in the millenium events thats it your with that team no transfering no guesting and lets stop the sandbagging and teams having players guesting who should even be there

I shall now get off me soap box and these views are my own and not the views of the team tho they would probably agree for a change lol!!

Glad you asked but sadly...

Junior: The Tomahawk reffing was some of the worst reffing I have ever witnessed! You guys had absolutly no clue how to cover the field! Most of the time you had three refs checkin the same guy and leaving the rest of the field wide open. You rarely made the right calls about bunkerings and playons, atleast not while I was watching/playing. And I watched quite a few games since i was just amazed about the amount of hits you guys missed. Never seen som many people wiping... ever!
The players/spectators could easely make manipulate you to pull a guy or to wipe a guy.

I sat in the middle fifty and got pulled when i sat in some paint... but stuff like that happens and you cant blame a whole reffing crew for something like that so i wont bitch about that. Even though the reff who made the call cant have been playing for more than a month since he made such a bad call. (which I told him)

The only thing good about you guys were that you were nice and polite, but if you cant do your job this unfortunalty matter very little.

A problem on most field was that the reffs forgot they were reffing and started watching the game instead of watching the players. Lack of experience.

But tomahawk was the worst!
