TJ, Sam was pretty acurate to my mind, however he did seem to be throwing aspersions in our (Roughnecks) direction due to us falling into his definition of where teams should be although Ian (my esteemed team mate) seems to have answered this for me.
i never said that Roughnecks shouldnt play novice. I just have issues with other teams doing it when they clearly are not novices. What should be substituted in is the term 'ROOKIE' because that is essentially what the nov division is.
To ALL the teams in the Nov section, do you consider yourselves to be Rookie players? ROOKIE players!?
If not then you shouldn't be in the nov section you should be Am B (which should be called Novice!)
The online dictionary defines rookie as :
"a first-year participant in a major professional sport"
How many of the teams in the Nov section of the Campaign Cup are in their first year playing?
If they all are then the sport must be developing fast as the uk has a huge number of first year players......................
