Searching for the pro-tour....:S
Novice, what?????

Well, what can I say. After missing the Sunday club in the Dam this year by 4 points i though we were in with a chance for campaign. Oh really, that listing is bollocks, I wish we were in Am B now, i'd rather get my ar$e handed to me by the wombles et al than play with a legion of Sandbagging brit teams. 5 teams you lot say, urrrm, look harder 10, easy!

Can I even be bothered to go now, urm, don't know really.......

Until the rules change everyone is entitled to go after their bit of glory. You don't see people complaining about a football team winning a division 3 title, but what you do see is the top 4 teams being promoted and the bottom 4 teams being relegated.

Why not have ranking tournaments where if you win you go up and if you lose you go down.

We (Roughnecks) have been going 2 years now and are still yet to win a single tournie but do have 6 shiny trophies to date. What's to see we are still novice? When do people accuse you of being a sandbagger? Topcats are a great bunch of guys and have run through us more times than I care to mention, we will beat them one day! However they haven't one a millenium event yet, shouldn't we look to the winners of previous events to move up?

Anyway back to the thread titlle sanbaggers as follows (in my opinion this is a complement because we have watched and played some of these guys and they are good):-

A few Good Men
Illusion
Top Cats
Vipers
UK Marshals 1
Menace

At the moment Phoenix are on the novice list BUT this has been changed and they will actually be playing in AM B at Campaign.;)

There aint any prizes in the Nov section to win though Neil.

In my opinion if you have been playing longer than one year, or played CC last year, you are Am B! It would have been so much clearer to have it as rookie and nov, because thenb teams would struggle to say that they were a rookie team, as they are doing now with the Nov/Am B sections

Losers:rolleyes:

Most of the teams that played Nov last year at Campaign should be in the Am B section.

I have a real problem with the way that the sections have been named, Am A, Am B...why?

It would have been far clearer to have:

Pro
Am
Nov
Rookie

As the nov level of the MS is really for Rookie teams. Just because it is your first event in the MS this year, it will nt be the first time a team has played the cup. If the level was renamed 'rookie'then we would see a lot less sandbagging as teams would get a true appreciation of what it is there for.
Agree completely. It's what I said when they first came out with this ridiculous AM A/AM B bollocks. Notice it's the system the yanks used to have and then changed back to Pro, Am, Nov and Rookie...

Rookie, really should be for rookie teams.

We have a rule to apply to when teams no longer fit into the term Novice. They can only play 2 Millennium events.

Unfortunately opinions of whether a team is good enough to play higher is certainly impossible to quantify into a ranking.

Its the teams that are playing below where they should that end up looking stupid.

So do as Phoenix have. Step up.... go on, you know you want to. You've got about 5 hours or face ridicule from your peer s for the rest of your life.
