SO BEING ON THE FIELD AT THE 10 SECOND CALL IS NOT PARTICIPATING. HOW DID HE GET ON THE FIELD WITH NO PLAYER PASS. the penalty was for him to leave the field, surely the team should have been DQed. that is most definitely favourable ajudication from the judges as any other team would have been out.
A coach may have a players pass but not be registered to play for the team. Coaches often come on the field prior to the game and help psych up the team. As long as they're off the field of play before "game on" then they haven't officially violated the rule (just annoyed the head judge trying to get the game started).Originally posted by jj igotcha

Fourthly, video footage proving a gun is hot? That I'd like to see.
from what i was told 10 seconds was called then guns down, why would a coach be in a starting position at the start gate with a marker in his hand if he had no intention of playing the game, as far as i know the game is considered to be underway at the 10 second call that is why you cant fire your marker after that point until game on.Originally posted by shamu

Sometimes people are a little quick to jump to conclusions.
Yeah - but the issue here is less HOW people are getting to 15bps and more around making sure that they don't EVER go over 15bps.Originally posted by jotajotaZ
If I'm not mistaken, the breakout is nearly impossible to police with a radar. Plus, with the camera you can not only count balls but trigger pushes.
Actually it's not. First breakout checks for bps in the NXL began in Orlando, if I recall correctly. Velocity checks began last year.Originally posted by jotajotaZ
