qft.

A coach may have a players pass but not be registered to play for the team. Coaches often come on the field prior to the game and help psych up the team. As long as they're off the field of play before "game on" then they haven't officially violated the rule (just annoyed the head judge trying to get the game started).

Sometimes people are a little quick to jump to conclusions.

That is actually possible...

The camera costs around $60,000 to buy or $3,000 a day to hire (with staff), and takes 4000 frames per second. With that we can accurately use a video camera to check velocity... Not practical or cheap, but I can show you how.

As for reality... a laser mic and a crew of people using them is the only real answer. Use a laser mic connected to a normal video camera to prove where the red dot was and... you can tell who was shooting what rof. Needs some equipment and time to make it reality. But it's possible. You can probably pick up a beautiful signal from anywhere on the gun/loader. A little tougher on the break but that's why you have the video to proof which gun etc. it was on.

The reality is only the NXL and NPPL have ever really put any thought or time or MONEY into catching these cheats. The others have only just pretended to.

Can't you do it with a 1000 fps one? They are way cheaper.

Better question: what's the minimum fps a camera needs to be able to relate trigger pulls to balls fired over a couple seconds?

from what i was told 10 seconds was called then guns down, why would a coach be in a starting position at the start gate with a marker in his hand if he had no intention of playing the game, as far as i know the game is considered to be underway at the 10 second call that is why you cant fire your marker after that point until game on.

not jumping to any conclusions here

maybe one of the tigers or a spectator who saw the incident could throw some light on what happened

If I'm not mistaken, the breakout is nearly impossible to police with a radar. Plus, with the camera you can not only count balls but trigger pushes.
Yeah - but the issue here is less HOW people are getting to 15bps and more around making sure that they don't EVER go over 15bps.

I'm sure that I've seen some video footage from PSP with guys in the penalty box checking people on breakouts to see if they are going over (i.e. Breakout mode) ... and I am sure that the "radar gun" is how Mr Greenspan was caught doing 23bps a couple of events ago.
