Not a fan of capping rof. You are limiting the need for people to develop skills, and rewarding those with less skills, I don't like that.
Which situation is really an abuse? How does the current situation "reward" skill when everybody and their cousin are rippin' paint without the inconvenience of pulling the trigger?

There is still a significant difference currently between people that have practiced to be quick, and people that haven't.

Especially if you don't count the cheats.

Stop the cheats and the divide will be even greater. Skill will be rewarded. After all isn't cheating a way to get over a deficiency in skill/ability?

So the answer to me still seems to be stop the cheats.

How about the fine art of lane shooting? I worked pretty hard to be able to lay a solid, accurate lane of paint at 12 - 13 bps on the break. Someone with the FA gun simply pulls the trigger once and does the same thing - no skill involved.

Or the fine art of shooting and loading? it's not easy to be able to pull the trigger, pull a pod, open/fill/close your loader and still be able to hit anything. Now, take the trigger pulling away and just make it a FA hose - much easier to do.

or moving and shooting? bunkering? you get the idea.

IMO a lot of the difference between a good player and a great player are in the small things, the subtle nuances of how the game is played. Something like FA changes those nuances. Change them enough, and eventually you've changed the very nature of the game.

Well if this is the skill-set you both want promoted, then I am sure you will not object to purely stock class play. It doesn't get much more "skillfull" than loading your 12 gram, 10 round tube, pumping, and pulling your heavy, mechanical trigger.

Sounds like a lot of fun... :p

If you set your trigger to where your gun will bounce like 80% of tournament guns out there, this should not be difficult. Now if you are running full-speed to your primary and doing this, then pat yourself on the back. :D

If anyone is having trouble with this, I'd recommend switching from the traditional two-finger grip, shifting your middle finger out of the trigger frame to the grip, and using your index finger on the bottom of the trigger, where your middle finger would have been.

A few questions i wanted to ask about trigger bounce.

Just want to check i understand it completely:

- The finger pulls the trigger back,

- the recoil of the marker firing causes it to move back (moving the trigger away from the finger),

- it then moves back forward (bouncing off your shoulder or however.) causing the trigger to move towards the finger,

- firing the marker again, an so on.

Is that what is happening?
