Sod it lets bring back the pump:rolleyes:

As a question to those alot cleverer than me (cant be arsed working it out )how many milliseconds would be needed to get literally 15 shots off in a second i would think it would be pretty low and impossible to achieve would be a injustice to have players pulled in events for the one time they managed to get their fingers moving quickly enough to go over 15BPSA

BPSA= balls per second average which is what it really is

....and again I BEG to differ!

Do you want a gun wich is a clear display of that rule? Well I can recommend you to pick up an Angel IR3 set it to 15 bps and see the results. That gun and thinking almost ended WDP's business altogether as the Timmy menace came up with was boards and eye logic controlled bps.

Think logically about what you gonna get! Its an opportunity window in every 65ms to shoot your gun if u make it you make it if you dont the software ignores the pull. Welcome to 8-11bps on a tournament in 2005!!
Now show me one person on the face of planet earth who is able to space a pull in every 65ms and archieve constant 15bps and Im willing to submit my marriage proposal to Roseanne Barr on prime time television in a chicken suit.

What will happen with the guns with eye controlled bps? How will I be able to use a Timmy a Fly or a DM4-5 or any gun for that matter wich restricts rof based on eye impulses? Its like Formula1 with a damn speed limit of 130km/hour!!! Make ramping legal @ 15bps and leave true semi uncapped otherwise we THE PAYING CUSTOMERS will get shafted AGAIN for the n+1th time.

Oh and I as a customer have ALL the rights of bitching and moaning as I pay entry fees overpriced catering and expensive paint + airfare+ hotel+idcard etc. in exchange of diminshing service year after year to a monopoly.

Peace
p.s: Bottom line is The Mill drops the ball every and each year. I dont care if they have problems I dont care if they dont make money. I pay more and more every year and I dont see my moneys worth thats the only one thing im concerned about.

Oh yes, now thats the rule we want Crpstack. And its soooo easy to enforce because all the players with ramping boards have a big neon sign above their heads that says 'Ramping board here'. Until there is some buy in from gun manufacturers that prevents players from buying boards/chip specifically designed to be hidden from judges then what other recourse do tournie promoters have????? I hope that, when the rule is finally published, we will get a clear and enforcable rule that all players can easily adhere to. Time to bin the woolly rules that are unenforcable and produce rules that are actually useable..... no more grey area, no more judges opinion, just straight enforcable rules and the equipment to back it up.

'in ya face baby!'
you cant have uncapped true semi!!! if you want to stop the cheating! cos peeps have software that is undetectable to marshalls and robots!! god i should cut and paste this statemenst it gets typed so much!

my vote to level the field would be first three shots (after a 2second delay in shooting) need to be true semi (one pull = one ball) then do what you like up to 15bps as long as its not full auto. then even if some goobers want to cheat on the full auto bit, its still only 15bps and all other non cheaters are shooting back at 15bps also!

sorry to say it but its the only way i can see a level playing field within the conscripts of the law

Welp lets make a bet shall we?

If you think that they will come up with a rule wich will be:

-straightforward

-enforceable

-logical

-player oriented

Im willing to take you out to the red light district @ DMA all expenses paid by me!

Im not against regulations and Im definitely not against exposing cheaters! Im against knee jerk rule making and half assed efforts of solving a very real problem. This one will not make cheater boards go away, the only thing it does it gets them more sophisticated on the expense of honest players!!

Peace

What I've suggested aren't in the slightest way half-assed and you have no idea how many hours of research, discussion and thinking-through has gone into it.

This means that close to every damn team who plays at the mill will have to get a board update wich limits their 2X+bps capable gun to oldschool cocker speed.
Not true. Check the website link I posted. You could also put a VL Revvy or similar hopper on your gun.

History is filled with people, businesses and nations that don't realize or practice what's in their own best interest. Reliable sources in America tell me that new potential practitioners of our beloved sport are being frightened away in droves at rec sites by kids with machine guns. Also, if our sport gets banned because of those guns where will those gun-makers be then?

...15 bps as max wich will definitely will put a dent int their sales figures.
I expect that paint consumption will actually go up. I could be wrong though. But there are far greater concerns than holding an umbrella over paint or gun manufacturers.

So way to go Mill this will be the "Year of the Innovation" meaning : Less games less tournaments no Xball and the 15bps rule. If that is "Innovation" I wanna be back into the dark ages of 2004 please...
I agree with your complaints about less games and no X Ball. Definitely not about less tournaments and a new rule to bring a level playing field to the sport.

Anyone who wishes for the gun rules we had last year either benefitted from sophisticated cheater guns or needs to be fed under the door or both. In fact I have a tendency to suspect anyone who pushes hard against sound rules/practice against cheating.

Oh, yeah. I do agree with this part too:

I forgot to ask earlier: what's your well-thought-out, full-assed solution to the very real problem of cheater guns (maybe yours) blazing away at the highest ROF the super-hoppers could feed them--with impunity for the most part?

Well

If I bought a gun and a halo on my hard earned money wich is able to shoot 20+ more I would like to use it and I dont think Im alone with that.It has no cheaterboard and 100% legal yet its able to shoot WAY faster than 15bps I will take it to you if youre interested at MM to inspect.

If the potentional practitioners would be handled as such and field owners would actually care NOT to let people with MG's rip into ppl with Tippys there would be no problem. It only takes some effort and some disciplining and I wholeheartedly agree that Timmy kids sould NOT be let on a field with newbies to pull a LaSoya on them.

Well I am concerned about the effects this ruling will cause as if sponsors pay less money due to diminishing sales we the players will be financially exploited again.

Oh and Steve I dont have a well tought out rule to the problem, its not my job actually as Im not a tourny promoter. There are people paid to make the rules and if I vote with my money on them (like there is any choice if u from EU) I expect something less restricting and unsophisticated. Ofcourse by the end of this year we will see where this leads and next year we will bear the consequences be it good or bad.
But in an age where we have guns capable of shooting 20+ and XBall, going back to 15bps and no Xball leaves a really bitter taste in some ppl's mouth. Im one of them...

Peace
p.s: Oh and no hooker 4 u Steve you're a family man!

I am VERY skeptical of that claim and would be very interested in seeing what your real ROF is if indeed you're shooting legally (and how am I going to prove or disprove that?). I've made similar claims in the past about certain modifications I made to my gun. Nowadays I believe that there are only a handful of people in the world who can truly shoot over 15bps without electronic help.

I wonder what % of redlight customers are family men?;)
