Since this thread is about the new rules for Millennium 7-player and NPPL, I feel I need to make sure there is no ambiguity.
Unless the rules are changed before Maxs Masters or I receive a different directive from the Millennium board the rules will be interpreted and enforced as they are worded.
What does that mean? Among other things:
1. No jerseys/tops with padding in the wrong places (shoulders, for example) will be allowed in a game. If you don't wear a legal top to the game you won't be playing.
2. No pink or orange colors will be allowed in uniforms or on hoppers. Comply or don't play.
3. Your jersey must be tucked in, under your packs.
There will be a few differences between NPPL and Millennium rules that will be clarified in the judges' and captains' meetings. One point is that we will penalize teams whose players fail to comply with our barrel sock rules. That means you will keep your barrel socks on when entering a field until we (the judges) tell you they may be taken off.
Some more points may come forth that I may or may not announce here. E-mail me if there are any questions.
