Could´nt have said it better myself! I hate the frikkin rule.

Steve, what if a player is not wearing a pack??? (in x-ball some players don´t need a pack) What are you gonna do then? Write a rule about tucking the shirt into our pants? Well then you might aswell write a rule that says we have to play with socks ontop of our pants if you wanna avoid hits to get hidden under your clothes... now that would look funny don´t you think Tommy extremesport stylee hehe

Whether you or I like a rule or not, if it's in the rules we're going to enforce it consistently.

If a player is wearing a pack the pack must be on the outside of the jersey both front and back.

Your comparisons with socks don't make too much sense to me. I happen to think the tucked-in rule does make sense.
