Obviously not too successfully....

Qualification to the EXL is done on the basis of trying to ascertain who is playing the best paintball, it is self-evident to anybody who is successful in using their brains, that judging plays no part in this determination.


Whatever crazy ass system the Millennium did to determine who won the series i.e. using judging points, this doesn't mean we have to use this flawed and anomalous system again.

Get it now or do I have to spoon feed you some more ???

Don´t have much brains right now, beacuse of a bunch of beers... but here goes: if we would have played campaign the placeing we need to get above shock in wps (why we compare to them only robbo knows) was 4th, to get ahead of ducklings or ignition (however) a 7th would have done that... To place higger then nexus or joy we would have had to place top 3. But hey, that is impossible, right

Well I suppose the point is, what position did you finsih at Toulouse where this was a simliar sized tournament and had a similar number of top teams ?

After reading your post, I have come to the conclusion that if logic came up and bit u on the ass, you would have a hard job recognising it..that along with common sense.
Simple thing is, if u had done better in the season, you would have qualified, you didn't !

Reffing points are always a little fishy.

What I'd like to know is if you look at each team that is in the EXL, and look at each tournament where Hardcore and that team were in the tournament, how many times did hardcore come out on top, and how many times did the EXL team come out on top?

Are there any teams in the EXL that lost to Hardcore more than Hardcore lost to them?

Not that that is, if true, in and of itself, sufficient - it's quite possible that the top 10 or so teams have all lost more than they've won to one of the other teams. But if Hardcore didn't win more than lose to any of the EXL teams last season, I'd say that'd be a pretty convincing case for their exclusion.

Well, you say that, but is it true? Seems like Hardcore would have been on the short end of the political stick no matter how you cut it. If the WPS rankings without reffing points didn't get the "wanted" teams, some other qualification would have been picked to justify selecting the teams wanted.

If they had ignored the WPS ranking system and used a consultative committe then I am pretty sure they would have been included in the top 8.

I just love it when you get all wired up Pete... but there's no need to make it personal, we can agree to disagree but don't be rude, don't be rude...
Considering the fact that it´s a new format that nobody could really say who´s the best at, maybe we should look at the fact that almost every player (10) on hardcores rooster (13) have played x-ball in nations cup and did a pretty good job. Last year and especially this.....

If you have read all my posts, you will have seen that I consistently nominated you as one of the top 8 teams and have repeatedly said you should be in .

But, the plain truth is, you didn't play well enough throughout the season to establish you as one of the top 8 teams, this is self-evident.

And as for doubling up on your warning.....yawn
