well i didnt read all the post for starters cause didnt want my opinion influnced by others, i beleive respect in paintball is different to respect in other games like football they shake hands and drink after game and same with rugby and other sports, whereas paintball id feel like iv earned respect when people at the end of the game come off the field buzzing about the game and talkin amongst there team or other people about what they have done and didnt do and how they got owned or owned the other team, i not sure bout other people but id feel respected even if they didnt come up and shake my hand slap me on the bum and say "nice goin", i'd rather just be able to talk to them like one of the guys/gals, as voiced respect in front of the person is hard for alot of people to do, but when they leave that night they might chat on the drive home to team mates and say "gees wernt that lady/guy awesome" as thats when respect starts hittin the big time as word of mouth travels and it gets around etc etc
not sure if i made a point there but my summary is respect to males/females dosent have to be voiced or shown to exsist, it is there
