OK obviously needs to be spelt out.

If you are in a team that has lots of polotics nonsense going on, you're getting a bit pissed off with it all. One day you are having a read of the forums and it becomes apparent to you (rightly or wrongly) that the **** you're getting pissed off with if rife within the sport. I know of a number of players, and quite a few of them good players who have been playing for a fair while, who have either stopped playing, are thinking about stopping, are going to other formats of the game because "tourney ball is just bollocks now" or are so disillusioned (sp?) with it all that they don't know wtf is happening with what is supposed to be a game.

Broz,

It's not just about reading the forums, it's about talking to peeps who are currently playing, the forums seem to be backing up what I'm hearing from others.

Then avoid those who have such an attitude problem.

Play to enjoy it, play to get better, play to be the best...... Sod the aforementioned fat old guys who spend their lives whinging and not concentrating on the **** that matters..... shooting the guys at the other end....

I don't see it as an attitude problem, more a state of mind due to what they have encounterd.
When I start playing again it will be for a team that plays purely for the enjoyment of the sport. I will play to get better and will play to win but, and this is a big but, if team polotics start rearing it's ugly head or the team starts to get caught up in the crap that's going on in the sport, then I will be off like a shot. Unfortunately I have managed to get myself tangled up with it all in this thread, usually I don't bother and continue on my merry way. So on that note I'm not going to bother any more, I'm sure Robbo will be on at some point hurling childish taunts in my direction to try and bait me, but I'm not going to get involved, I have my opinion and from what I have read so far it doesn't look like changing anytime soon.

I do like the posts about the fact that politics stop people from playing paintball. If you are sooo weak minded that you are giving up the sport you like because person x does/says something that does not go confirm with your opinion or view....get of your ass and stand up for yourself!!!

If people like the ones mentioned here would invest as much time into complaining for something prodcutive we would have a total different paintball scene in the UK.

Said it before and I say it again. Go play the sport you love, if you think there is stuff that needs to be changed/improved, get motivated and do something about it.

STOP BEING A BABY AND GET YOUR TEDDY OUT OF THE CORNER!

We all know what the problem is in UK paintball....lets change it and make a start to improve it.

Maybe it would be nice to see us ballers to be united to start with. Stop bloody bitching!

Luv,

Bagpuss

cro, the solution, for you at least, is quite easy, would you like me to help you along?

I have read your posts in this thread and I have to say, and you know full well I am no idiot; they are devoid of any rationale other than the same one you occasionally display.

The vested interest I have in all this is, I love the sport and I would be bringing hatts to task even if I didn't work for PGi but I'm afraid that is something you might just have to believe rather than for me to prove.

Anyway, let me get on with this, I wanna ask you a question cro, why is it, in a thread such as this, where hatts has so obviously crossed a line and acted abominably, have you deemed it fit to come on and criticise me?

I mean, even one of hatt's own colleagues, Russell, tried to dissuade him and eventually revealed his intent and yet, you take the time out to jump in on me....seem a little unfair maybe?
Seem a little inappropriate perhaps?

By all means attempt to bring me to task for something I have done or initiated but this?

I could be mistaken but I think this could be getting personal with you

cro, do yourself a favour and just don't come on this site if I, or others offend your sensibilities, it's alarmingly easy.

At what point was I defending Hatts? His post was well thought out and was just to antagonise, just the sort of childish behaviour and polotics that I have been going on about. The bit that I would critise you about is how you have handled it, personally I would have thought it would have been better to have taken it off of the the boards and dealt with it. The way I have read it is you taking your chance to get one over Hatts then pushing Russell (whom I understand you have no beef with) to come on here and eat humble pie, that, for me, was neither big nor clever and just fueld further the polotical hot cake that is getting so big within this sport.

Bagpuss,

I'm not being a baby at all, just saying what I see, I want exactly what you stated in your post, for all the promenent people in paintball to get together and sort this **** out once and for all, maybe then we will start to get the UK paintball scene moving in the right direction.
