Okay, back to the topic, I have been thinkin, in between watching innerspace and a few beers.
I'm going to off my own back create and buy a web domain solely for the purpose of promoting UK Tournament Paintball. www.uktournamentpaintball.co.uk or something along those lines, this will be used as a portal for new players to find local teams, websites, tournaments and links to all things paintball related in a tournament sense, reviews on markers, best way to start, advice, everything a new player needs to know. As it stands we see loads of post from new players looking for teams, this will remove the looking and replace it with finding. It will give advice on how to start in the sense of promoting the best UK stores, what to watch out for, FAQ's and stuff. If it's okay with P8ntballer.com I would like to possibly add this site to your front page...but guess I'll need to fill a few people with beer to sort that one
I will get expert advice from the people in the know, both players and experienced paintball players/managers.
How many times have we seen a new player come along who has been ill advised with the purchase of his/her new kit??
Call it an advice website, call it a promotional website, call it what you like, but what it will be is a step in the right direction at least. In this day and age everything is done via the World Wide Web, so, let's use it.
All I ask in return is the support of UK Teams and Tournament organisers, if you have websites, information, contact details brilliant. Let's get these people who walk around wanting to play and not knowing how to go about it started, then, maybe in 12 months instead of a thread like this one, we will have one saying we have 70% UK Teams booked into Campaign Cup.
Pipe Dream.......maybe, but if you don't try you will never know right?

Well - I ofcourse respect you not wating to read it - so don't read it.... as this site is for debate, and we are actually debating possible solutions for solving real problems - I don't really see the problemPeople not knowing when to walk away really annoys me, now quit it before I send both of you to bed, no supper and no night time dictionary reading.

Now that is a plan. But (and it's a big one) - who do you give these 'booklets' to? Random people in the street? Punters at rec sites (without annoying site owners)?AndyDane said:i'm going to proceed with my plan to get a load of booklets printed and handed out with all of the relevant details on...
