Maybe somewhere a little warmer?
You mean like, 'Hey, Brockdorff, go to the Bahamas.'

Yeah, that'll learn him.

if you are supporting the 'refs = halfwits' philosophy then I see where you are coming from.

Fact is, the refs would first have to prove beyond all reasonable doubt, via the use of foolproof and as yet non-existent technology, that heaven/hell does actually exist, and also that he did himself post those insults, not an unknown imposter stationed on a grassy knoll somewhere.

Naturally he would then have the right to react by threatening to kill them all, calling them gay, and then shooting the crap out of them...... afyter all, they are only refs.

No, you know I don't... I think refs need easily enforceable rules and a shot counter and a BPS cap would help them out. I still think PSP has got this one right, although I do not know how this may affect insurance, premiums venues etc.

I think that if the will is not there to enforce a BPS cap in the NPPL then Shamu and Pete are on the money, but I think that is a less favourable solution than all of their points combined with a BPS cap and the tech to enforce it.

What I have been mostly arguing for is a Millennium/PSP-type cap PLUS the stones and backing to make the tough call when highly illegal break modes are being used--which they are in all leagues--while developing and deploying technical solutions to satisfy even the most Brockdorffish among us.
