I wasn't defending the french bashing! Just to make things clear! I was trying to defend the french posters who were just trying to get their views across!

Ton Tons need to grow up, Simple as that . They need to realise that they are and have been for a while france's highest profile team. They will always be under the spotlight and they need to get used to it. They need to win hearts and minds as well as games. It's not an anti french bias when they get booed walking on to the field to play XSV. It's years of negativity that has been created by the the french paintballing pschy.From dodgy reffing to dodgy guns @ various events i've played in, the french have developed the british 'island' mentality that everyone is out get them. They need to channel that force and not only do the right thing but be seen to do the right thing. You can not win hearts/minds/tournaments and more importantly respect if you have 6 players in the finals to choose from because you try to play ringers,have suspect guns and cant control your players actions.

Its been a long established thing that French marshalls are on the whole appalling. This isnt a racist comment it is from playing fields for a number of years where french marshalls have been employed. This includes tournaments outside of the MS.

Ifi want to criticise the french marshalls as bieng lazy, biased poorly educated (when it comes to the basic rules of paintball) then it sems a little harsh to construe (sp) my sentiments as having a racially motivated tint.

This isrecognised by a great deal of players outside of this small island and is a topic that has continued to repeat itself. When this is coupled with the poor behaviour of the highest profile French team at a major event, it seems absolutely justified that French paintball should comein for a bit of a pasting.

I think it is a great shame that we cannot criticise the people who represent their countries at overseas tournaments without the true discussion getting sidelined.

there was a french marshall on the chronic field,
i didnt get his name but he was from team enemy, had a chat with him while waiting for the other team to get ready and when he pulled me he was courteous but firm.
shouldnt tar them all with the same brush.

`why such hatred against the french team ? and why post pictures of them ? can you all sleep better at night ? does it feel GOOOOOD ??? yeah, i'm sure you do. as my brother said, I'm not gonna blame all the english in general because we have a bunch of friends there and my girlfriend is english too.

first thing, pete with all the respect and love I have for you, I really think you went too far, and you encouraged a thread that is nothing else that a pure racist bull****.

but anyway, if some people like robbo can talk because they did enough in their carrer to deserve a lot of respect , and laurent desreve the same respect for what he did for paintball , none of you will ever do half of what he achieve, son until then shut **** up.
for most of you it's easier to make your nickname shine in the darkness of internet like cocroaches than print your name in paintball history.
how many of you are respected pros playing for major world class teams ? probably none...

in england 3 people printed their name in history for playing for the best teams in the world pete robinson, phil ham and dave spittle, I would add matt schmitt and marcus davis. (probably you kidz playing for a year and a half don't even know these names)
but do I see any of your names in there ? NO
so learn how to play paintball, earn some respect and then open your mouths.

I love the guys from nexus, but with jack wood as a tech, wich is according to me a genius, don't even tell me that they don't have everything they need in their program to do exactly the same than anybody else.
but nobody has no proofs about who has what, so until then, just be honest and respect people and teams when they deserve it, tontons played great 6 against 7 and came 3rd, and that is very respectable, all the good players knows that.

for all of you who have so much integrity, why don't you say something about your friends who **** any french team they can.last year in malaga playing with arsenal, we heard a reff talking **** about the french team he just reffed, I had for witness, all arsenal , and shockwave. the guy was a fiel head judge.

the truth is that league is the most corrupted league when it comes to reffing, this league was an example cupple of years ago, but now it's a rubbish because people like you prefer to fight against the country next door, and then when you go back home you fight against the team from the city next door, and then the team from next village, and then your own brother because his gun is nicer than yours. all you look for is hate, and this sports don't need people like you, and you know what, probably none of you who have so much hate, will ever be a top pro player. because all you can do is talk all day long instead of beeing able to prove your real value.
if you want to play only english teams why don't you stay in you kinder garden and play a good local league with your friends you'll be champion of you town and it will be safe and legal.

this league is INTERNATIONAL, what part of this word you don't understand...
so deal with it or go away.

as a final word, I will say that i'm glad I've met in my paintball career a huge number, in england and everywhere else, of valuable friends that I will never forget and these people gave me a great time playing paintball, when we'll be done playing paintball that what's will be left, FRIENDSHIP. that's my opinion.

and thank you pete for what you did for us, without the helpe of my english uncle I wouldn't be what I am today( who said french and english can't be friends ?????).
