Now if you switch Muslim with Japanese,Colombian,or Canadian I would hope people would see why we might just be a tad bit pissed and are fighting back..Christ,to be politically correct at airports,we shy away from asking a man named Mohammed questions but we strip search former Vice Pres. Al Gore,a 90 year old woman,and a white guy in his 30's with a cowboy hat..If white men were attacking our country,id be damn happy if they were questioning me as I got this funny little about living...
Fine,99% of Muslims are,im sure,wonderful people..The other 1% that make up thier leaders and terrorist thugs are hijacking their religion of peace..Maybe look at the inside for problems and not the outside and we might get somewhere..Until then,the war on terror rolls on and unfortunately this time,Muslims are caught in the crosshairs..Sad really,but until theres major cahnges throughtout the Middle East,thats the way it is..
Again I point out that I have nothing against Americans or the USA. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with someones government. Otherwise we just become a dictatorship where you cannot have an opinion.

I would also say that, if you take 9/11 out of your list, you're talking about what, 200-people over 20 years killed?
That is a very small amount by a very small number of extremists, most of whom probably had conflicting ideologies - this grouping them together as Muslims is helpful to no-one.

The problem is that Muslim is not a nationality. Could I then say that all of the terrorist activities that have occured in the UK have been committed by catholics? No I cannot. Have the British government the right to persecute catholics of all nations because of this? No. It is a too broad generalisation.

Never said anybody dying was acceptable..Im trying to explain why quite possibly we feel the way we do when were attacked by countries who promote these extremists..If Canadians were bombing the **** out of us with the grace of thug leaders,sadly id be all for invading them as well..Our national security comes first..I know Euro/American policy is vastly different in this area but thats the way it is...
I doubt anyone has a problem with that. It's just the way that it's done that gets on some people's t*ts...
It seems that instead of finding the root of the problem and trying to fix that, all the emphasis is put on blowing the crap out of things. Ask yourself why they hate the US, and try to fix that. The US government is battling the symptoms, not the cause of the disease.
