Kris, it'sn ot all about appealing to the public, it's also about an enforcable rule (you can't enforce semi only, FACT!) and a level playing field etc...Originally posted by kris
good god
When will you guys learn
For 15 bps personally i dont think the public would give a flying F**k, so after taking away that argument its boils down to safety
Anyone who knows me, knows i can take the extra love however i take that as being part of the game in the higher divs, i wouldnt like a newbie to have 10 in the head though
You are paying customers, you are paying for a service!
If you dont like the service go somewhere else!
If you eat out and dont like the menu you wouldnt go there again would you?
As for making it appeal to the public personally i believe the format we have know is easily addequate.
but if you think a tournament held in a field near ancaster is going to light the publics fire then your surely mistaken
You need big public venues
e.g. Blackpool beach, Bournmouth, Town parks ( hmm nppl seem to know what they are doing)
Shove it into the public eye!!
how do i know this
well its my job!!
come to the think of it the more i read and talk about it the less i give a c**p
that me done on this subjectomondo
peace

I'm not a ramping advocate, but I'm not against it either.
If the rules state that ramping can start at, for instance 5BPS, and you are not allowed to deviate from this rule with a higher BPS (ie start ramping at 8 or 9 BPS), then in my opinion the rule is stupid.
Nothing as long as the mode in use was legal, so that means as far as the UK in concerned it could be fully auto.Originally posted by Twizz 69
i just wonder if someone did get Hurt and they tryed to claim, does the paintball site have insurance, cos when they find out it was caused by a marker that fire's more than 1 ball per trigger pull, what would happen then?
Cool, thanks for clearing that up.Originally posted by Russell Smith
Jay,
For the guys who can sort their guns themselves they can set the ramping point at whatever they like.
As long as the first three shots a semi only and the minimum rate before ramp is allowed is five bps, and of course the cap is 15bps.
I myself would prefer ramp to start at 8bps and come off at 6bps but we have to go with one of the types of firmware out there, hence the PSP mode.

If you're found shooting over the limit in a game then your eliminated for that game only.....not further action taken. Thats what it is to my knowlege.Originally posted by Collier
What happened in those cases, banned, warned? What is the penalty?
I wasnt at the PA last weekend. But i know people who were there, and they have told me that they were shooting faster than the 15bps limit during some games because there were little/or no chrono checks being performed before some games. They said that it was easy to walk past the chrono judges while they were looking elsewhere or attending to other guns.Originally posted by Russell Smith
This is a fact mate, you prove the above statement or I will sue you on behalf of the PA and UK paintball.
