Everyone has long opinions but here is it in a nutshell.

if theres no way to monitor or regulate it, then it's b0llocks. If players say the "robot" didn't work, then what are the PA thinking.

Regardless if you enjoyed it or didn't.

the sound bps testing thing did work, they just need more ..

if there was an issue with the safety or equipment, goggles etc then i'm pretty sure the US leagues wouldn't be doing it as the manufactures would be crapping their pants waiting to be sued ..

i think you just have a case here of the game changing, some people will like it, others wont.

you pay your money and take your choice. i wonder what the new pro league will use ..

I don't know, but if they've got any sense they will follow NPPL rules to the letter, if only because I can't see the teams involved wanting to get used to different rules and gun settings when their priority is clearly the NPPL.

Anything else would be stupid IMO.

Hopefully, the new league will not be played on fields with 800 barricades (slight exageration give or take a few), 2 feet apart, like the PA seem to love doing on many of their fields. An 8yr old could shoot his way to the 50 with ramping and that much cover....ML fields are not so forgiving:rolleyes:

Well now you can walk there, backwards, and still find it hard to get hit.

I appreciate y'all making me look like a genius but please enough is enough. (And if you read your PGi like you know you ought'a you'd know what I was talking about . . .)

About the ramping and the play of the game. 15 bps adds up to numerous advantages for the offense. With 35 props minimum per field there are no excuses for not playing an aggressive game. (Trust me on this one, Jay. ;) )
For those who can't or won't cope there are other places to play. Look, y'all wanted pball as Sport and now you're getting a taste of what that means.

good god
When will you guys learn
For 15 bps personally i dont think the public would give a flying F**k, so after taking away that argument its boils down to safety
Anyone who knows me, knows i can take the extra love however i take that as being part of the game in the higher divs, i wouldnt like a newbie to have 10 in the head though
You are paying customers, you are paying for a service!
If you dont like the service go somewhere else!
If you eat out and dont like the menu you wouldnt go there again would you?
As for making it appeal to the public personally i believe the format we have know is easily addequate.
but if you think a tournament held in a field near ancaster is going to light the publics fire then your surely mistaken
You need big public venues
e.g. Blackpool beach, Bournmouth, Town parks ( hmm nppl seem to know what they are doing)
Shove it into the public eye!!
how do i know this
well its my job!!
come to the think of it the more i read and talk about it the less i give a c**p
that me done on this subjectomondo
peace

Trust you all the way buddy. You have seen planty of NXL games, so you have working knowledge of what the ramping business does to the game. I personally have seen plenty of gazillion obstacle games to know how they play...
