Bright orange in the shirt design, I believe Impact Uk also had to wrap tape around an orange logo on the arm of their shirts.

How naughty

Millennium didn't have any rules against orange in the 7-player series. I know because I announced at last year's Maxs that orange and clear hoppers might be banned for 2005. In X Ball orange was forbidden and Tontons had to get rid of the orange which they did.

The reason for that rule is because there is a least one color that is solely reserved for officials, photographers and other non-players on the field. It also gives you a color that will show up on any legal clothing a player may be wearing.

Who the hell cares about an orange logo on the arm or even two stickers on one side of the gun, when you are allowed to have cheating and borderline ILLIGAL guns on the field!

RAMPING SUX AND ITS DANGEROUS!

All I have to say to win this argument is I was told three people passed out, one of em sent to the hospital. And this after just one event!

Its really scary seeing a division 3 team that barely know not to shoot at the guy wearing the same jersey as him, shooting 15 bps using one finger! (and no not all div 3 teams are this bad, but some are) This is like walking up to a kid with a driving permit, giving him the keys to a ferrari and saying go nuts...

The games weren´t as fun because skills weren´t as important, just sit down hold a pot in your hand at all times and hold a lane.

Im not gonna debate this till the end of time, as many people do on this forum. But Im amazed some people actually liked using cheating guns. If this BS rule stays there are gonna be injuries, mark my words and it might be you passed out on the field shaking.

Oh yeah forgot one thing which I hope is limited to this millenium event alone.

2 top the 15bps rule off, when you walk on the field against 7 other guys/guns that shoot basicly full auto, your not even allowed to protect your neck, because some tradestand owner has decided that your only allowed to have neckprotection that is made out of neoprene (which by the way is for sale in his tradestand).
SO, all other neck guards of other materials were not allowed. And all we could get as a valid reason we were made to face 15bps shot at our throats without any protection was "its mannfreds rules, not ours." One ref had the good sense 2 offer me his neoprene neck cover so I alteast had something.

Ramping and neck protection

I agree 100 % with Robin.

I accept that there is no way for officials to control ramping at this point in time, and until they can, that it is fairer to allow it for everyone.... but that PSP mode has suddenly become legal is just ridiculous.

The rules clearly state maximum 1 shot within 100 ms of last trigger pull - at Maxs 5-6 shots were allowed.... and I am yet to get a satisfactory explanation as to WHY.

It is those extra shots that are the real safety issue, because it means players get hit 5-6 times AFTER the other player has released the trigger.... I saw players bunkered that got stiched 10 times in the back of the head... had I been the ref, I would have called an instant 141 for crap like that....

It is extremely easy for a ref to check if a gun fires more than one shot after trigger release - and I find it difficult to understand why the "runaway tigger" test was performed, when the rule was not in effect?

As for neck protection, that is just the worst descision ever.

15 BPS - PSP mode allowed... and players are TOLD to remove their neck protection???

What bright individual dreamed up that stupid rule?

Neoprene is inherintly the material that causes MOST bounces.... so why on earth is it the ONLY allowed fabric for neck protection???

Someone please explain!

Searching for the pro-tour....:S
I liked the ramp rule, its got to be better that we all run the same level of ramping than the lucky few with intricate boards ramp about as much as they want.

I would suggest that the millennium consider moving the point where ramping comes on up, perhaps to 7 BPS.

Hopefully this would reduce the chances of people being bunkered at 15bps in the head.

And I didn't hear about the casualities on the day, perhaps they occured during sessions when we wen't playing. But how many players are carried off the field during a large tourney anyway?
I seem to remember a certain very famous baller being banned from a US league for putting 12 balls into a novices head, and that was shooting semi-auto!!! Ramping is not the root of all evil, its just different!

Because it seemed to be the only mode that every gun manufacturer had ready for update at the Series.

Just say Lasoya its easier:)

It's all very well saying ooo lets change when ramping kicks in, but whos gonna pay for it? Programmers don't work for sweets n nuts. Manufacturers are the ones getting shot in the neck!

I didn't see any dangerous over kill all weekend, tonton lit some last player up and the guy had like 10 shots on him, but he would have got the same 5on1 with semi anyway...the refs were fairly quick on bonus balling calls
