I was so excited when I read this my pants started filling with a warm yellow liquid. Score!! I bought my xbox the first day it came out, been working great, I can't wait to try this, they could have special controllers and such, and you can customize your own gun and buy parts and stuff. Play on xbox live, man I'm seriously gonna be so happy when it comes out.

you should be able to switch between players, get penalties, bunker, and overshoot people when they're out.

I think it would be a fair assumption that they would. If teams are going to be putting their names to this product then it would be neccesary that the companies sponsoring get on board to license their product. Unfortunatly, this is another possibly HUGE siticking point for any games company tackling the sport.

Hey, I never woulda gotten into the NFL and NHL if it weren't for Madden and NHL Hockey on playstation.

Cant wait to see what this game will be like and, if it is based on x ball, will the players be able to purchase cheats for their guns and what button will be used for wiping ?! perhaps a combo move(double tap >> yb xa could be used for playing on !!!!!)

1st person... or 3rd!?

it would be awsome if you combined the two.
when you want to shoot you can go into 1st person and do your shooting!....

better still!....
have the view from behing the 'baller so you can see infornt of you... hold a button down to display a crosshair and then shoot
using anolog sticks to move in and out..

From the limited rumour and stuff we have heard so far it seems like it is going to be first person... which i don't think would be a good idea exclusivly.

Your concept is actualy part of the idea i was developing, the analogue sticks (plural) could be used to good effect for adjusting your avatars position and posture. A 3rd person perspective would be infiitly more suitable for this than a 1st person.
