Robbo, I did not question your intentions, simply just asked a question so I think by insulting me " weebrain " is a tad bit harsh.

Dave, bearing in mind the amount of nibblers I have just waiting to pounce on my ass, bearing in mind the amount of work I have put into Nexus, bearing in mind how proud I am of the team and what we have achieved, bearing in mind after our recent results that I might be a bit sensitive... don't ya think the following question from yourself could be viewed by me as slightly provocative?

Arent you basically saying that Nexus aren't good enough to make the cut on their own?

You expect me to say that?????????

Talking with Chuck earlier, there should be no "new" refs at this event. Every ref must have at least 1 NPPL event under their belt if they plan to ref this event. Oh, and we will have Swedes in the house again :D

Take it for what you will.

Thanks, Whale. Now I'll be able to sleep at night. ;)

Ps--where you been lately? Not too many sightings of late.

Oh yeah, who's gonna be the Ultimate? Spill, Whale, you know you want to. :)

Where've I been? Had to migrate up to the arctic circle for mating season.

I know who the new Ultimate is going to be, but this is valuable information. OOOOOOHHHH - look, I get to be InTheKnow for a little while!

Ye its gonna be rocket tight going in to San Diago but dont forget some teams already have 5 scores & can only take points if they do better than previous events & even if they do they have to deduct there bad score first, so 20 points might only be 11 for example.

On the other hand some teams only have 3 or 4 scores & are adding points regardless of how well they do 20 points is 20 points. So for me the Rankings dont tell a completly accurate story going in, but 1 things for sure its gonna be the biggest dog fight in paintball history.

Man its gonna kill me if we dont make it just becouse we couldn't finance 5 scores.

Adjusted Points

Just thought I'd share something I drew up for team rankings going into San Diego.

This only covers the first 21 teams (one of which, Hardcore, does not count because they will not qualify for 2K5 NPPL Pro status due to a lack of NPPL showings).

Basically, I took a team's total points and adjusted it so as only to count the top four eligible scores. The scores listed on www.nppl.tv/rankings effectively become the minimum score posible for the team, and the score listed below is the one onto which they will be adding points at San Diego. If the points earned in SD are fewer than any eligible points not in the top four scores, then the team gets whatever is listed on nppl.tv.

This may make no sense to anyone but me, and it may well be inaccurate. If that's the case, sorry for wasting bandwidth.

If anyone finds it useful, great.
