just found this on FoN
Next year's NPPL Pro bracket is getting more clear. Dynasty will be there with Entourage (althought the Dynakids have stated that they will not be using that second slot, who wouldn't?)
Am I just behind on things but isn't that the first (sorta) confirmation that they will be selling off the Entourage slot?

Slots for 2005 cannot be sold; as far as I know it may well have been Entourage's original plan to sell but since they can't, I think they have settled for putting the Dynasty second team in.

Okay then so we can safely say one UK team are in next year :D

Will be a shame if shock miss out without even being able to play the event though....

Is it really that hard to book a team in a couple of months before an event? Surely if you were that loyal to the NPPL you'd have yourself booked in at least an event in advance?
Couldn't teams pre-pay for all 5 events at the begining of the season for a slight discount or something ... ok, it would have had to be all 5 events, but for some teams it would have been a no-brainer.

If the Legion did play San Diego, you'd be a fool to bet against them but then again, I'm pretty sure the Legion haven't booked in and are not going to.
Aren't they like on vacation till February after the Cup? Leaving players with lots of free time? :p

Teams I know that didn't make it purely because they thought they had time, or were in Spain, are:
Triple Tap
Arsenal A team
Shockwave UK
Uh, are you sure Triple Tap and Shockwave aren't playing??? Arsenal A-Team probably isn't, but I'm thinking they don't play Pro anyway.

It's an even sorrier state of affairs when some teams and players resort to designer cheats on their markers that break the rules of the game and sometimes the laws of the land.

Qualification for the NPPL next year is of the utmost importance to any serious pro team and any teams that decide to enhance their chances legitimately I ain't got too much problem with.
After all James, I am pretty sure your 'alleged' moral dilemma would evaporate if your team had to qualify for the finals of some tourney somewhere and by chance, Oli Lang became avalialble for your team...........
He would be in your team faster than a two pound pork pie disappearing down Piper's throat !

Any pro captain worth his salt will do anything in his power to make sure his team makes it for this NPPL cut.
As long as they are not breaking any rules it would be morally wrong to the team NOT do everything he can.
