I am curious...

How will the rules be for who can play in the different levels? (I don't even know the current rules.) How many experienced players can play in level 1, for example? How much time needs to pass before I or my team is allowed to go down a notch or two?

Steve

1 = Pro
2 = Am A
3 = Am B
4 = Nov

Will be pretty much self-selecting, with tha value of prizes stacked to encourage teams to play in their correct bracket.

However, I believe the top5 Nov outfits will be politwly asked to play Am B - or Am A if they feel up to it.

Ohhh boy

Nick one good advice.

Look into the mirror dude, your head got too big!

I got a great time this year shooting Camp Tigers back to the deadbox with my boyz from the Am. The whupping what we got from the other pros gave us one thing: DETERMINATION

Determination to be better and one day whup their buttocks. I think Im not alone with this, its called Inspiration bro!

On cash prizes....

Gimme a break the top amateurs already got substantial sponsoring and their contracts forbid them to use other manufacturers stuff.
And how can they pay their entry fee/paint/hotel for the next event with "Gear from top manufacturers"???? And dont came and say sell **** its not like that a team can sell 4000Eur worth of stuff in a few weeks.

On pro's paying higher entry fees...

TJ I like you I like your attitude but this one kills me! The sponsors are the ones who pays the entry fees you know that.

As ppl earlier said its the AM's and NOV's who carry PRO's on their backs so dont forget where are the roots k?

Peace

I like yours too bud, but...

>>>And how can they pay their entry fee/paint/hotel for the next event with "Gear from top manufacturers"????

OK, this is what gets me...why should anyone get a free ride? Why shouldn't you pay for entry when someone's putting on a tourney for you? Why shouldn't you pay for the hotel you're sleeping in? Why shouldn't you pay for paint - it ain't free to make.

You are not playing to represent your sponsors - you're playing cos you want to, it's your hobby, and people pay to enjoy their hobbies.

Jeez, when I did tha Eco-Challenge the team entry fee was $10,000 - add on flights, expenses and gear and you're talking about $5,000 per person...and they had like 80 teams.

Know where tha prize money went down to? 3rd...no ridculous Pro/Am thing either - and that's despite tha fact that there were genuine Pro athletes there who are paid to race as a living.

When I race MTB in tha National Series, it costs me $50 to race round a trail for an hour and a half, that on any other day I could do for free...and there are no prizes!

I do it for tha competition, to test myself against tha best, and I'll happily save and spend my own money to pursue my passion - why should you be any different?

Oh, and

b4 anyone comes back and sez, 'But it's soooooooo unfair, cos tha Pros get everything paid for them'...spare me.

If sponsors decide to pay for everything for Pro teams, it's cos they see tham as a good marketing/advertising tool - you may as well bitch that companies pay hundreds of thousands of bucks putting adverts in magazines.

Some Pros may have paid their dues, some will just be there cos they're good looking, or well connected...big deal. It may not be fair, but since when was life fair?

You wanna get a free ride then make it as a Pro...
