Ik wel maar voor een hoop mensen die net MS spelen is het niet helemaal duidelijk.

Wij zijn ook niet zo dom om shirts met padding op de schouders te kopen......Wij spelen namelijk altijd eerlijk

But Steve, I just don't understand why you are so keen on having them banned, if they proove to be 100% legal in comparison to two layers of clothing (on the shoulder area). Or do you honestly think that the shoulder padding does provoke bouncers even without any clothing underneath?
Because the places where padding has been allowed for years has been clearly defined by all the major leagues for years. Where they (the Dye jerseys ) have been overlooked for a while now, they will be phased out also (I've got inside information on that). If the teams sponsored by Dye or who choose to buy the jerseys continue then other teams will PERCEIVE that there is a slight advantage and other manufacturers will have a right to introduce their own padded jerseys and the problem might just spread.

The rules about padding are reasonable. Let's quit pussy-footing around and get rid of the bleedin' inconsistencies.

Because as is obvoius to anybody that the padding is soley put on there to achieve more bouncing! so they should be banned or any shirt for that matter with padding on non-essential places.

You still haven't told me why YOU are so keen on havin the Dye jerseys banned...it is obvious you as a person have something against them. Missed out on a nice Dye deal by any chance? :D ;)

If the Millennium/NPPL really want to set a standard for padding, why not set standards for the materials and thickness, and have a sample of the allowed material in the maximum thickness present on each field? This way you give manufacturers the chance to go by the rules and be allowed, or throwing the rules aside and face the consequences.

Just for adding that last bit to the sentence, you and I will be having a word the next time we meet young Hobbit! ;)
And umm Tubbie: just because Dye put padding in the shoulder area of their jersey to provoke bouncers, does not mean it actually does provoke bouncers in all cases! I am positive two layers of clothing (especially with some space between the layers) is more of a bounce attractor than a single layer of the Dye shoulder padding (which is so minimal, it makes this whole debate laughable).

There is room for compromise here people...think about it.

Fat lady's charm do have pink shirts right????? i would say ban them and let them play naked, don't think most male opponents(and spectators) would have any problem with that anyway.

As far as I know, Dye jerseys, for the reasons Budha states are gonna be ok and there are no immediate plans to phase them out this year or any other year.
I talked to Niall and Dave about it recently and I don't think there is a problem as long as no jersey is worn underneath.
There is a bunch of talk going on here about bouncing and stuff, I tell you this much, if I was to wear two of my choices of playing tops, as is allowed now, that are both one layer, I could walk out onto that field with many times more a bounce factor than any Dye top.
Unless we get all scientific on our ass and come up with a specific thickness limit, all the rest of the rhetoric is just plain , ill informed conjectural bullsh1t.
Just my two cents :)

Think you are missing the point steve here, if there aint any rule about what can you wear under the shirt OR how thick can the shirt be. Good examples like playing with college shirt where is your teams name or have hud under your top...

my 68 cents
