...as of yet, Paintball hasn't evolved into a socialist enterprise and the direction it follows is not really influenced by its player base.
Do you not think, like you have constantly suggested with the Millenium Series teams, that there should be a players comittee with more power within the leagues.

If all the teams in the Millenium for example wanted to play Xball and threatened to leave the league if the directors didnt take notice then that would give considerable clout.

The league can say "ohh thats not good for our TV listings" etc bull **** bull ****, but it wouldnt be much good watching an event without anyone playing it...

And therein lies the rub... until the players start voting with their feet they will continue to have no say. And paintballers won't stop playing a series unless there is an alternative to go to.

Yer i agree with what your all saying. Iam only 16 but now know that Xball is very important in the survival of tournament paintball. Also i have a question for the legend (Yer its you Pete) is there gonna be more uk paintball in the pgi mag?

I dont see it as "important for the survival," in that scence it is probably a negative effect as it will mean TV advertising and exposure will be less. I personally see it as important as it is awsome fun to play, pretty much every player out there loves it, so in my eyes it should be played!

Chris, I'm afraid you are living in cloud cuckoo land mate if you think that, it ain't gonna happen.....

The player's committee will have a remit of influence and the format played at this stage of events isn't included, not by a long way and to suggest otherwise is pure fancy...

Xball is diffentally more interesting as it is fast and intense, which is great for the player/spectator. Is there any website which lets you watch the espn tv shows? as i want to see them.

You clearly know a hell of a lot more about the politics of balling, but what i am saying is that if there was something the players wanted so badly, they would refuse to play until the change was made then surely the league would want to keep its self running by making that change.
