DISCLAIMER: My ability to misunderstand English is somehow legendary.
Do you mean that Oslo and/or London may not take place? I was really hoping to go to Campaign this year...
I was talking about the USA teams and their NPPL ranking. Next year to play in the NPPL Pro division, teams will have to rank in the top 17 this year.
From NPPL
"Entry into the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division for 2005 will be limited and will be based on the following criteria :-
1 There will be only 18 Teams in the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division for 2005.
2 The top 17 teams from the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division 2004, based on their Series Points at the end of the 2004 Season, will be eligible to play in the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division for the 2005 season.
3 The Division I Champions, based on their Series Points at the end of the 2004 Season will be eligible to play in the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division for the 2005 Season.
4 Any team who wishes to move up from Division 1 to the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division for 2004 may do so at any time. Please see section 5.03 from the NPPL Rule book below for percentage of points allowed to be counted.
5.03 Any team that elects to change its status from Division I to Pro, from Division II to Division I or from Division III to Division II will keep a percentage of their points based on which tournament of the year that they move up.
After the first tournament: 80%
After the second tournament: 60%
After the third tournament: 40%
5 The Teams that do not qualify in the top 18 in the NPPL Super 7 Pro Division, based on their Series Points at the end of the 2004 Season will automatically be relegated to the NPPL Super 7 Division 1 for the 2005 Season.
6 At the end of the 2005 Season a number of Teams yet to be decided from the bottom of the Pro Division will be relegated to Division 1 with a number of Teams being promoted up from Division 1 to the Pro Division.
7 The NPPL Super 7 League plans to introduce the above structure into the NPPL Divisions 1,2 and 3 under the same criteria at a future date. "
What I was stating was that teams that want to enter NPPL Pro 2005 can only score points in Iberian Cup, Malaga and in the 2 NPPL events that are still to be confirmed.
One NPPL Event will probably be in Houston 17-19 September (apparently 4 days after Campaign Cup) and the other is still to be scheduled.
In no way did I want to suggest that the Millennium Events weren't confirmed. Despite lot of biased "opinions" that roam the forums that's not my way of working.
I already explained the efforts that we are doing to make conditions comfortable to the players. We will have Air-conditioned areas, private team boxes and even a swimming pool.
I think that the only time we will have problems with the heat will be at the players party here most will have a hard time copping with the Spanish girls , just check the place at www.ananda.es
