Hi Jorge Gutierrez,
Hi! Have we ever been introduced? You can drop the formalities and call me just "Jorge", it's both shorter and easier to remember.

I think that the Stadiun "La Peineta" wont be demolished as you mention but it will be improved to host the Olympic Games 2012.
Oh, that's good news. I always liked that stadium :)

Team list looks already quite impressive. I woudn't be too surprised, if even some more american Pro teams will register in the next days, as Madrid and Malaga are the last two events, there they can get points for making the cut to NPPL Pro division 2005.

Looking forward to Madrid,

Ulrich

Update

Hi Jorge,

I don’t think I know you but I don’t like call persons by the nicks, hope you don’t mind. I will buy you a beer (alcohol free ;) ) or a Coke in Madrid.

Regarding the Team List I already asked to take Malera and Uk Jaguars names and I apologise for any inconvenience we might have caused.
As I mentioned this is a provisory team list with many teams that are being contacted by our office in Spain. Many will probably not confirm and many more will be added in the upcoming days.

We all know that the majority of the teams are still recuperating from the excellent tournament we had in Toulouse.

If your team is interested in coming or if your name is in the provisory team list but cant go please drop me an e-mail.

am fairly certain that avalanche wont be there......

and from talking to baby and rene in toulouse, i dont think that the Ugly ducklings will be there, and i know that Method will not be there for sure.

I doubt that any of the EXl teams will be there as Norway is only 2 weeks later, and if the teams had the resources they would be playing Denver for the points there, but they are not.....

I dont think that many of the USA teams mentioned will bein attendence, as they are all playing Denver, and its only 2 weeks later....

Not a very smart move for the organisers of the event to use teams names on the list to entice other teams to play when those teams have not authorised them to do so.....

So can the organisers actually produce a list with an accurate list of teams playing, i.s teams paid?

Hi there,

If USA teams only travelled to Europe if they didn't had any american event in the same month then they wouldn't had come to Toulouse because NPPL Denver will take place this weekend.
On the other hand the USA teams that come to the Iberian Cup will receive full series points. Considering that they can only get points in Iberian Cup, Malaga and that the remaining 2 events aren't still confirmed they will lose ground if they dont come.

The organization doesn't want to abuse or insult any team by putting their name in the provisory list.
Unfortunately some teams that we contacted don't give a straight answer but instead shown interest in coming to the event. By putting a provisory list online we sometimes get a faster reply.

As I already mentioned this is a provisory list of the teams that will attend the event. We will only have a final list a week before the event since most payments are made by bank transfer and take up to a week to reach our account.

If any team is in the list and already decided not to attend just send me an e-mail that we will remove it from the list.

Do you mean that Oslo and/or London may not take place? I was really hoping to go to Campaign this year...

rest assured they will take place buddy, Campaign is a MAJOR millenium event, the Iberian Cup is a new arrival in the seasons calender (who ever chose Madrid in August???!!!:() and would therefore be dropped in favour of Campaign if anything imho!

trouble is Madrid will probably be a fantastic event, but the shear unbelievable heat will effect so many lilly white northern europeans, that i feel staying alive will somewhat outway the urge to win a tourney! shame really cos replacing Madrid and Germany or Paris would have been the shizzle for weather preferences!
