Not saying that TJ, just saying no one outside of So Cal would have heard of them if they did not get the publicity for behaving badly. The publicity is jut feeding their rep.

As far as the meeting is concerned, I went last year to about 8 hours worth, and plan on going again this year (of couse it is in my backyard). The semi pro division is a direct result and because of noise made at that meeting. If you recall, prior to the meeting, there were only 4 divisions and NXL teams were going to be classified as Div 1, and now semi pro is a desired and locked division. Not bad in one short year! See sometimes the players/reps do come up with productive ideas

Inside scoop says the deal is done.

NPPL & PSP merge into one big league and will be hosting a single event in 2006.

The event, entititled, 'worlds biggest paintball game', will be held in the woods at skirmish usa, PA, in the rain.

Pump guns only.

Ten round tubes only.

12 grams only.

What the NPPL and PP have done has improved the overall tournament experience for the player. I'm content with what Chuck has done, doesn't seem like he should be removed in my eyes.

Reffing: A (in 3 seasons, only needed to argue a handful of calls)
Exposure: A
Format: B (we need an x-ball like format, moving out of quarter finals in D3 - Semi Pro should not be determined by the outcome of 1 game)

Do any of the other leagues allow people to vote for the president of the league? Maybe the NPPL isn't structured the way the old NPPL used to be, but hey we saw what happened to the old NPPL

And a good idea it was! D1 would have been a mess this year, and many teams would not have moved up if the pros were mixed in. The locked Semi Pro division will just increase the value in the league and will help with continuing to force teams up and down, placing teams where they belong. Ultimately it'd be great to see a feeder series where new teams have to qualify first before they can play in any of the divisions and then place the teams appropriately based on how they do at the qualifying events.

I don't think Chuck SHOULD be removed either - but that's not the point. The point is that NPPL advertises itself as a players league, when it's really just a company owned by Chuck.

You might want to add yet more disclaimers to your signature. Something like:
"I may start threads with "Its official", but I am talking crap, so please pay no attention"
...or maybe you have an official source for your official statement? In which case please point me to the press release that any official statement would be heralded by. Or maybe you heard it from a secret insider source, in which case you would have a different source than I do, saying very different things.

The people that are going to be able to make a merge work are still trying to make it work, and other than those people, no-one else has much of a say. Now as I know full well that those people do not think its done, I have my doubts about your source...

Be careful, there are a lot of people with a multitude of agenda's running thier mouths off at the moment (perhaps you are one of them, which would explain a lot). People need to stay out of it and stop talking smack about things they are not a part of, else they will just end up covered in shxt. Just leave it be and if it can be done it will be done. If not, then you can make your official statement if and when its actually true.
