Tournament ball is a blip, an aberration, and in 20 years time when Paintball is a well established recreational pursuit and nothing more, no-one will even remember that we used to have tournament teams.

I think duffy's point was that you wont care about playing tournaments on supair any more. Sure you'll remember it but it will be of no consequence to anyone.

love woods

I have to say I love playing rec ball but it is just the money my local site is point blank which is ok but like a lot of paintball sites it is all about the money £6 for 100 or £95 a box   which is just a rip off as we all know how much sites pay for they crap paint sweet FA. Which is ok for people who go paintballing one or two times a year. I was going every month and I was paying £95 for a box. And 2000 paintballs do not last long..

I think the sites should stop ripping ballers off with there paintballs prices..

and there's the big advantage for sun-allergic gingers like me

you get to play in the shade.

it's a good point about taking the family, for big games the mussus , my 2 bro-in-laws and a host of mates whowouldn't be seen within a mile of a competition all come out of the woodwork and into the woods, much fun
Just get some sun cream you pillock. :D.

That stuff they give to electric cable jointers (factor 2 billion subblock) was quite good, i used it a while back lol. I still have some somewhere ....

I Love playing in the woods, tho i love tourney a little bit more, but i dont like this whole concept of someone saying "i play in the woods, cos its only for fun", surely if you wernt having fun playing tourney, no one would play it, if you know what i mean?

i think its down to money for most people tournies are expensive, i.e entry fees and huge amounts of paint to pay for, where as woods some people fire 15 balls tops a minute not 15 a second
