i think value for money comes into it to.

i'm more inclined to pay £15 for a walk on and play 10x 30minute games than to pay a higher fee to play 8 or so 5 minute ones

It's all good woods ball and sup'air.

We play at the Northern 1/4 and we play a few woods ball games as well. the woods ball is a relaxed day takin it easy in the woods and sup'air rocks big time it's just in your face action all day. Each to there own i say :)

I enjoy both types of play, but I think it's an age factor now why I'm slightly turning back to preferring woodsball. It's much slower with less stuff like kneeeling & sliding, and takes slightly different tactics.

I think another factor may be that sup air is getting more & more competitive, there's too much pressure to win at all costs and some of us still play just for fun.
i would agree with that, im not getting any younger and im playing more woodsball now than i ever have, my whole family can play and we travel to walk ons all the time, with tourney ball its just me out my family thats playing, had a great time at bawtry on the 14th, very relaxed and excellent fun

and there's the big advantage for sun-allergic gingers like me

you get to play in the shade.

it's a good point about taking the family, for big games the mussus , my 2 bro-in-laws and a host of mates whowouldn't be seen within a mile of a competition all come out of the woodwork and into the woods, much fun

wiping wot u mean wiping?
i agree with liz i think people get a little bit too competitive i was at training not that long ago and was having a practice match against another team when my mirror started to go ape sh*t at me swearing and shouting at the top of his voice for me to get the f8ck off the field i got hit on the hopper and hadn't noticed i couldn't beleive how angry he got it was only training people really do take it far too seriously

And all those new players probably cut their teeth playing woodsball, so it's all they know. My first experience of playing supa'air was at hamburger hill, me and a few mates giving it a go after shockwave had finished training. Got to play infront of the team, and got given some wicked tips.

Was still bricking it when i first played competitively on supa'air.
