It is just funny that NXL has no problem with me playing EXL.

Baca answered your question back on page two. Whereas everyone else, including the NXL, sees the EXL as a seperate league; the EXL is naturally looking at it a bit different. They, on the other hand, see the EXL and NXL as being the same league, just different conferences (as stated by sjt19.) Which you can't really blame them for thinking... afterall, the NXL did decide to allow EXL teams into the World Cup. Though I hope they would find it a bit Strange* that one "conference" has an entirely different event and playing schedule than the other.

* I don't mean to steal Baca's Thunder**.

EDIT ADDED--steal away. saves me repeating myself. ;)

** Sorry!

Is it really the same leage?
Thanks.
Alex.
Al, I stand by my initial argument that anybody looking like you should be banned on principle anyway but failing that, playing in the same league is obviously a 'no no' but you would also be playing in the same competiton i.e. the right to play in the world championships in Orlando.
This is the problem I got with it all and if you look toward football as a guide, they get cup tied and can't even play in the same competition even after they have left one club and joined another and you still wanna play for both at the same time.

As for Mag's assertion, they are picking on you, this just ain't the case; it is you because you are the only person in this position and were anybody else playing NXL and wanting to play for say Nexus, the same conditions would rightfully apply.

I understand where you are coming from - but I think we can all see that they are trying to close a loop hole that was left open by 'only european players' rule. And yes that just refers to Alex as he's the only one it can mean and the only reason it was written I would guess.

Doesnt make it wrong though!!

Well said mate - double elimination sux for the EXL. I've said it before - this solution leaves the Millennium with a foot in both camps. But who knows - maybe it's the right thing to do - we've seen american franchises have problems keeping players in the NXL but they have a large player base to keep refreshing their teams.

The european teams involved do not have the industry tie in that they do so would find it much more difficult to survive if half the players decide that 45 identical games of 5 man a weekend isnt for them;)

Cyclone -

If you're considering getting US talent in - I'd say one thing - try doing it for yourself and sustaining it by yourself.

Alex

Maybe the NXL don't view the EXL as a serious equal (which of course at the moment it cant be). They dont mind any NXLers playing elsewhere unless its XBall by the sound of it.

Happy days eh?

simple solution Alex.
Quit the NXL, join your friends and brother on JOY, play Super 7 and EXL, and have the time of your life....
The fact that you can get told what to do and where to play without adequate compensation is the real problem, and it is a problem shared by everyone in the NXL, hence the Xodus this year to Super 7 of many of the 'faces' of the game.

Stop talking start walking would be my advice. You ultimately make the decision that is best for your own happiness.

You could even get to shoot one of those new Joy Angels....

he means that you would have voted for D.E if you were in his position.

The captains that voted for DE were those who the DE system would benefit the most. By voting for DE the team captain views his team to be in the top 4, and as such the beneficiaries of said system as opposed to the pools.

Secondly, I have said the whole time that the pools system was best for Euro paintball........ heck - I came up with the system !

Nick
Then I'll remind your befuddled brain....

'Actually - If I was to vote in the best interest of my team in the short term... I would have voted like you......'
