Anybody know if we can use NXL players in the Open division X-ball and if so is there a limit on how many per team?

Its like David Beckham Playing for Real Madrid in their half of the Champions League and for Manchester United in the other half.
Yep, like that.. and from a Real Madrid supporter like me.. wouldnt like to see it in soccer of NXL or EXL.. players might decide where to play with all consequences

Lemme see if I got this straight then--and please, if not somebody feel free to correct me. And no, this ain't got nothing to do with Alex's situation. He knows the rules and he's free to do whatever he wants.

This is more of a response to Goose's comment about the "specialness" of the NXL and EXL. The NXL restricts player options as a way of making the NXL more exclusive yet it's okay for EXL players to play where they want; ie, Max playing for Evil. And presumably other 7-man events as teams like Nexus and Joy are signed up for NPPL.
What I'm wondering, if the EXL is supposed to be the Euro equivalent of the NXL why not a similar system and rules? The rules and format, whatever you may think of them, are intended to protect and promote a potentially valuable property. Could it possibly be that the whole EXL dealio was just a pot sweetener for Dick Clark, a way to cut off an MS/NPPL alliance and give the NXL kids some Euro trip candy to keep 'em happy another season? In which case nobody important really cares what the EXL does one way or the other.

But I'm probably wrong. I'm sure it's happened before, I just can't remember when. ;) :)

Bang on the money Paul !!!

Tho I will add, the Millenium's apparent reluctance to embrace the XBall ideal as wholeheartedly as our American counterparts (for whatever reason) does play into the hands of any European teams who might wanna hedge their bets on the other horse.
