ramp kick in

And there still the piont of the ramp kick in.
If i am using a bouncy gun with ramp set at say 10 bps i would only need to pull say 6 bps to get 10 bps from the bounce. So i am still leagal as i have set the ramp to 10 but my gun double taps.
This form of control is not enforceable with out a robot.

The reason the nxl does 3 shots then full auto is simple

Thay have a series of check's first bodes it bounce yes or no?

Does the auto cut in before 3 shots yes or no?

Does it shot over 15 bps yes or no?

If the answer is no to all 3 the marker passes if it is a yes to any of the above it fails.

I hope i have managed to get my piont over.
Makes sence, am sure the rules will be clarrified though. :)

lol if u cant beat em join em guess the trigger bounce was a hard one to police so dont police it let em doit
what happend to the old arguement about ramping boards not safe and all that then ? guess that just went out the window when it couldnt be policed ?
also what happened to 1pull 1 shot

hmm my guess is fa next season then :D

Just gotta say this is a great ruling from the PA.

Everyone knows that the current rules are impossible to enforce and just end up making the organiser look silly.
This way we get rules we can actually test (from the players point of view aswell as the organiser) and we get cool ass fast guns    which make the game better to watch.

Well done PA.

PS
To all those who think they can get over 15BPS for more than a couple of balls.. Dont kid yourselves...

Oh look we cant enforce our rules so lets make 'cheating' 'legal'. So i can legally use my 3 shots to one pull mod at the PA now. siik

The Bouncy trigger/ramp modes have ben in use for years, christ some people dont even know they are using them.
I/we/paintball needs something we can police and everyone understands.
The old arguement about why we stopped ramping markers before is simply before when markers used to ramp the fps went up as well, thats why we banned it in the first place, that is no longer the case.
In a perfect world it would be one pull one shot but we don't live there, people set up there markers and claim they have a great trigger job on their gat because it sure rips- bollocks, they have trigger bounce and they are so far up their own arse they don't know it.
All we are trying for is a level playing field and this is the way we think it can come about.
If anyone has any ideas (that will work) tell us, and if we think it could be used, we will.

or will there be a lower ramp limit?
cos the nxl 3 pulls is there for that very reason.
a mugging at 15 bps is going to hurt.
You will have no control mugg someone pull the trigger twice and BAME 15 bps ouch.

exactly what i was thinking all that will happen is either they will allow the ramp to kick in at a really low number or cheating boards will be set under the allowed limit and the new problem will be proving when the ramp kicks in, or if the kick in level is deigned to drop mid game.

It looks like you have eliminated one problem and made another

I have a couple of guns with this software on it already. It's NXL type code, but you have to keep walking the trigger (relatively slowly) to maintain the ramp. This is what the PSP is rumoured to be going to next year.

I do think it will level the playing field, and make a lot of gun cheating obsolete.

I do think it will be safer in the safe zone, because you won't need to set up stupidly light triggers which go off and bounce with the slightest breeze.

I think on the field the average rate of fire will go up.

I think more paint will be used.

I think more people will get over shot.

Once these guns are into ramping it's actually hard to shoot only a few balls.

The software I have shuts off the ramp if you don't pull for more than half a second.

Keep it simple and use the NXL system, 3 shots withn half a second and the forth is allowed to do what it likes.

So ramp kicks in on pulling the fourth shot.

Let it ramp straight up to 15.
