A quick question on this - has anyone checked that just about all tournament markers CAN be capped to under 15BPS, including the older electros? If not, then anyone with older kit could be faced with a masssive bill to replace their marker.

Angel LCD's certainly can be, fairly certain LED's can, Impy's are still supported so should be...
I guess in doubt stick an egg on....

Why, you don't have to fire at a ramped 15 bps. This just allows players the "choice" to enjoy a level playing field if they wish.

How many times do people have to be told that guns ARE stacking or have some degree of subtle bounce??? This rule ensures those peoples whose guns stack / bounce to a negligible degree are not fouled by unforceable and subjective rules on bounce and the flaws of the "robot" (which couldn't catch a determined cheat).

guess it all depnds on this tool really, if the tool does have to be held behind a player then in my view its pretty much unenforcable.
The vast majority of players have absolutely no idea when a ref is behind them, in fact most players only see what is directly in front of them. :p

Yeah they can but if you do that your avrage rate of fire will drop well below 10 so you are again at a disadvantage.

Yep so you set at 18-19 and will never hit over 15 anyway!

Regardless you'll never get it out the barrell anyway, can you say soup!

right correct me if i'm wrong....

but if people are capping their guns to 15bps using the software provided on the gun, wont that then limit the gats as it has been said that the bps counters on most gats are way out.

for example on an a4 fly it reckons i am shooting 19 - 20bps
when in fact i know its roughly 12-13 tops

so if you then limit the board to shoot max of 15bps it will then slow it down loads as it will only allow the trigger to be pulled based on the microseconds between trigger pulls rather than the actual 15 pulls in 1 second

it makes sence in my head...anyone elses?

peace

Go back and read the thread, please. Too many circular sub arguments and repeats posts here and I can't be bothered to prune it back. Too many more and I'll close it down.

In some cases yes in others no, take the LCD for example if you limited it to 15 on the mrof then yeah, you'll struggle to get 12 bps out of it, so solution? you set it higher.... it aint rocket science. ;) :D :D
