Yup - but crap players still pay their money to have fun. They want value for money from their £££ and making a corner against a crap team shooting 15bps is gonna be a lot harder and less fun than a crap team using semi.

True but I think the point is that people aren't using Semi (in its true form) at the PA at the minute anyway, so this won't actually make much difference, perhaps make less paint flying if anything.

Oh for FCUKS sake, how is a player suppost to tell how fast he is firing (without electronic aids). Also how is a martial suppost to tell how fast the player is firing. I say keep the rest of the rules, but PLZ dont restrict the speed at which you can fire with just semi auto (no aids).

Because if you think you can fire above 15 bps then you would get your board electronically capped.

This is such a load of balls, i agree that it would stop pple cheating with ramping/bounce etc, but how is a martial on a field suppost to tell if a player is firing 15bps with his board capped, or if he is firing 16bps??

Is there that many people with ramping boards at the P.A, im not talking about guns that bounce im talking modes set into markers to make them ramp.

What about those guns that cant be flash programed (Smartparts) do we have to now concentrate on how fast we pull the trigger for fear of being pulled. I could sit and fire my gun easily under 15 bps but when someone runs accross the back line or on a break out i will allways fire faster. How are you going to police it.

Using the NXL as an example is way off, totaly different game

If you are so bothered about trying to catch designer cheats ban the non standard chips that have hidden codes Like the NPPL they seem to cope.

Do you really think players in the PA are going to go to all the expense and trouble of developing their own?

Fair point.

Because you play the series and I don't - how bad do you think the issue of cheat guns are in the PA?

I know there will be a few out and out cheaters, but I'd bet that 80% or so or bad guns are simply people setting up light/bouncy triggers that are catchable at a chrono and aren't turn off-able (new word) in secret.

So how many guns are illegal in the PA? how strict are they with the current semi rule?
