I think because the idea is to achieve BUSA recognition you need to be a team formed form students enrolled at your own Uni. If you don't have a club at the moment there is a bit of advise about on starting one.

Afraid not. As the others mentioned, one of the BUSA regulations that we are trying to comply with as part of our goal to get recognition is that all the players representing a uni must be students there. No guests or combined teams i'm afraid.

It would be great if you were to start a club though. One way to do this would be to advertise around your union for people that were interested in paintball. If you get a couple of people, meet up for a drink, go recballing a few times, and take them along to the Uni championships in March. Then you've got a few people involved to help you form the club, share the work and to be on the committee.

If you have any questions or want any advice drop me a PM. :)

Uni Paintball Clubs

It seems a club at Gloucestershire Uni had slipped under my radar. They've been active since at least the start of this academic year and have played 2 NSPL KotH tourneys so far.

This brings the total up to 17 clubs:

Aberdeen
Birmingham
Bristol
Coventry
East Anglia
Gloucestershire
Hull
Imperial
Keele
Kent
Portsmouth
Robert Gordon's (AKA Aberdeen Poly)
Southampton
Teesside
Warwick
West England
York

There are some interested parties at UCL and other london colleges, I was chatting to them when i was martialling their annual paintball outing. Hopefully they will find their way here, but i did point them to steve and this forum.
