I Had My New A1 Checked At The End Of A Game By A Marshal With A Twitchy Finger He Said This Guns Bouncing 141(i Got Tested Going On With No Problem) His Test Was To Hold The Gun Away From His Body Pull The Trigger Till It Fired Then Twitch His Finger Round This Sweet Spot...he Got It To Shoot 3-4 Balls In Every 10 Or So. How Many People Shoot Fast Like That? I Know I Just Walk The Trigger. His Test Was A Joke

Can anyone tell me the procedures the marshalls were using to chrongraph?

Because if they weren't using the millenium rulebook procedures (which is what the UKM rulebook is derived from) then they were doing it wrong and as such the blame lies with them.

Those are the only two tests required as per the milleniums. Pulling a trigger slowly multiple times to see if you can get more than one shot is outdated and incorrect (and doesn't catch marker cheats) and to pull the trigger rapidly and release it more than 1 time is also incorrect. If it happens once then the gun shouldn't be used (or if time permits be rectified) If it doesn't happen then it is fine.

And whilst i know the MS is a ramping tourney, the closest major league tournament to the UKM (the NPPL) doesn't even have a bounce test provided by the marshalls. Only a robot.

i concurr the bump test should suffice but the balls fired also help to find ramping guns and ott boards

just to clarify i wasnt even at this event but just giving my considered opinion and yes i have a lot of marshalling experience before you ask.

p.s. the bon i understand what ure saying but ure finances are not a marshall's problem while i commend you for swallowing a double paint bill you cannot blame the marshalls for doing there job ok ???

Ok, please reword the title because the marshalls are NOT racist . The word you are looking for is prejudiced. Further to that, its not something I have ever witnessed at the UKM though.

We have a large selection of guns on our team and no gun was chosen in preference of any other. We did find that the first 2 people on the field were invariably checked though.

As for checks, my understanding is that the rules state a chrono test on the field and a millenium bump test. BUT marshalls have started to check for ramping and bounce because the number of people attempting to get away with it has been on the rise.

I figure that if you have a genuine complaint, take it to Wendy when the problem occurs. Having problems with your team is not something you can blame the marshalls for, as you have to foot the bill for a stand in.....if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear.

Sorry to hear you feel so agrieved by the marshalls , but personally I think they do a top job considering the pressure that we players put them under.

one of our front players with a ego got picked on all day long

but ... rich and his timmy only got done once i think

mostly it was the pm5's that me and ben had

but only beacuse we offered up first

all of this depended on the field and how the marshalls liked to check

when we played the same field twice in a row they checked 2 other guns so cant see where the problem was

Yup, my 2K5 alias Timmy, with tadao board got checked once, on field 5 i think where we played 3 games in a row. The checks seemed fairly random to me.

I've read through this thread and whereas you may have a point about a couple of trigger-happy marshalls at the chrony, why on earth have you deemed it racism???

Reword the title on this thread mate, the current one is making a indication that marshalls were picking on players based on colour or race.

more like: picky marshalls. or: paint wasting marshall trigger happy chrono sessions

Come jahlad, all guns today are likely to bounce and have cheat boards in them.

Players and marshalls still hold their prejudices towards timmy's cause they were the first one's to be identified really as a 'cheater' gun.

Also, marshalls suck at finding cheater boards.

sorry i should have said ones which have more readily comertially available cheater boards, a true cheat board will be pritty much undetectable unless you know specifically how it operates (im talking about a custom built one of type board) where as things such as tadao and virtue (to name the first couple that come to mind) etc are known about and if you know how they work you have a good chance of deturmining that one is in a naughty mode.
another one i picked a few of at that event was egos with tadao boards in, simply because they are easy to spot and i know how to activate the breakout if is turned on.

yeah in general refs do suck at finding them tho

only put about 30 balls in your hopper, when that runs out on the marshall, tough ****. I doubt they will ask for more. Just deny having any more and fill it up on the field.

you make it sound like its the players vrs the marshalls which i assure you it is not.
please remember that refs are there for a number of reasons the main on being the safety of you the player. without refs checking guns who knows what people would get away with or what problems/injury could be caused.

UKM KOTH Is limited paint, so you get one hopper per player and 3 pots for the whole team, so you'd be basically losing a pot straight away.
