Gun Hating Marshals!

ok the subject came up in 2 seperate msn convos today lol.

Ok at koth on our team are

2 Ions
2 Timmys
1 DM

Now, this is how the chrono bounce check went in all of our games

Game 1 = Timmy 1, Timmy 2
Game 2 = Timmy 1, Timmy 2
Game 3 = Timmy 1, Timmy 2
Game 4 = Timmy 1, Timmy 2, Ion 1, Ion 2
Game 5 = Timmy 1, Timmy 2, DM
Game 6 = Timmy 1, Timmy 2
Game 7 = Timmy 1, Timmy 2
Game 8 = Timmy 1, Timmy 2

No joke lol! What do the marshals have against timmys, especially scince EVERY game the timmys were well within acceptable limits.

The second thing id like to rant about is the ammount of paint the marshalls use durring their tests, i swear some of them were going for a joy ride on my trigger lol! One game i even got one of my mates from the sidelines to pass me a pot to restock after he used half my freaking hopper in "bounce testing"
he only stopped cos i said "id like some paint to shoot in the game"
Now considering im playing koth, haveing 90 shots left isnt exactly helpful eh?

IMO the marshals should have a box of paint to fill up after their "testing" cos that pushed me to the edge, having to help cover payment for another member of the team i was realy tight on money this event so i couldnt of gotten more paint had i needed it. I only just got away with the 1 box.

Was it just that the guys with the Timmy's were the first on the field each time so it was easier for the marshalls to chrono them?

after the 3rd game we started going in randomly cos we noticed it was happening, they wud wait till we were all in check out who had what then always pick us!

How could they refill your hopper though. You chrono your gun based on the paint your putting through it. Put a random paint in there and it could go up or down loads over the chrono?

Do what most people do and take a pot or so extra out for the team to top up what the chrono judges use then just leave the pot at the start gate or deadbox to pickup when the games finished.

I understand your frustration though, some marshalls do get a tad excited when there chronoing...

Thats exactly the thing though, for this event i simply couldnt afford to waste paint, having to cover the costs of our 5th member left it too close for comfort

what u been smoking? a timmy bounces no more or no less than any other high end marker when set up right.

At the end of the day untill about our 4th game and then after that all the other markers on our team coulda been hot. Not once before or after that game were the ions checked.

one of our front players with a ego got picked on all day long

but ... rich and his timmy only got done once i think

mostly it was the pm5's that me and ben had

but only beacuse we offered up first

all of this depended on the field and how the marshalls liked to check

when we played the same field twice in a row they checked 2 other guns so cant see where the problem was

I didn't say every timmy bounces i said thy are known to bounce, i did not imply that your markers bounced so because "timmys" are known to bounce the marshal are more likely to check them out.
