Just to clarify, first off, thanks for the comments both you and Sam made, I am sure the guys will appreciate being compared to the Yanks and the Russians 
As for politics getting involved in why Nexus players weren't playing in X-Ball, well....it's a long story
Basically, at the start of all this, somebody (not Nial or Laurent ) manoeuvred a sutuation where the Nexus players weren't going to be in a front line poisitoin for selection when the Nation's cup was first started.
That said, it wouldn't have made any diference because we had decided to concentrate our efforts in the NPPL and couldn't have done both anyway.
So, although politics certainly played a hand in the initial stages, it all became academic in the end with our decision to play Stateside ball

Ok guys this is my opinion, and mine alone. Why not have a UK X-Ball competition. Simply have it as a competition for the committed, and financially supported teams Nov to Pro.
To put it blunt some teams may be crap at 7 man format, but kick a$$ at quick paced 5 man format.

To be honest that's a very good post. X-ball is becoming big fast, and countries reputations can be influenced by it. (in my opinion) So maybe some time and effort should be put into maybe training for it, or at least some organisation, like picking coaches, Twizz did a brillient job in Tolouse, but he only found out 5 minutes before it started that he was the coach??
The big question is who would dedicate time and effort to it? not too mention the money factor??

Who should the EXL Teams be..... Now first off your all going to say this team are the only ones with the cash etc, but what really should be asked take the cash out of it (just for arugments sake) and who would the best teams be?

Ironically, the teams who do have the cash generally seem to be the ones vying for the 6 places in the EXL and not because they have the money but because of their ability......coincidental ?
Maybe the best teams attract the dollar?

I think at least five of the teams pick themselves, as to whether those five actually decide it's what they wanna do is another thing altogether...we'll have to wait and see

Sam, I think you will find the 8 team league will include two American teams mentioned before in another post which would leave 6 spots open for Euro teams.
This might change but as far as I know, this was the plan.
