I would like a straight answer from you:
Do you believe in the principle of being innocent until proven guilty ?
BTW - you mention the thousands of rec ballers, whose oppinion of tournament ball has changed due to this incident.
- And apparently you take absolutely no responsibility for that being the case.
When someone with as high a profile as you, within the rec community, voices the oppinion that the whole team knew, without the evidence supporting it, it DOES have a negative inpact.
And for that, you should acknowledge your responsibility.
In fact, I firmly belive a major reason people (myself included) give your oppinions the time of day in here...... is because it is believed you hold sway over a multitude of rec ballers impression of tournament ball.
Honestly I don't get why you would put forth your own personal guesses and oppinions as "facts".... when you carry such a responsibility on your shoulders....... but maybe you have an agenda here ?

I gotta disagree
In what sport would the whole team be penalised harder than being kicked out of the World Cup ?

Nick, why even bother with him (Tyger) ?
You might as well go and talk to a chimpanzee for all the good it would do.
For a man who tells us all he is the king of recball, he sure do spend a lot of his time 'hangin round' us pros and tourney ballers....I wonder why ?
Come to think of it, I already know........

Nick, like I said, it's whether you believe the punishment fits the crime. I can't make my mind up whether it is or isn't. However, if there was a 'ruling body', I kinda think there may have been a more severe punishment.

This whole Salm thing has been blown waaay out of proportion, only those close to lanche will know all of the bull**** that has gone on behind the scenes, salms motives etc. Its pretty sad that people with less than all the facts decide to come on here and suspect the whole team.
In my opinion, Salm did the deed, got caught, got punished, no one got hurt.........apart from maybe the rest of his own team, who got banned from the rest of the cup and are gonna have to live with the stigma of Salms actions for a long time! Isnt that enough? Id like to hope that most people havnt got time for witch hunters, with their own agenders and sun beams shining from their arses, looking for something which just isnt there!
Like Peter mentioned earlier, the main issue here should be the freekin poor organisation which left paintballs premier event looking more like an enthusiast roadshow with 12 hire toilets and inept judges.

(post not directed at anyone in particular TJ;) )

Give it up already.

Even if the whole team knew...

Who cares?

Somebody did something stupid, it didn't work, end of story. Pro players were wiping hits and playing on all weekend. The only thing that's remarkable about this is that the cheating was just blatantly obvious, stupid, and spectacular.

I just can't fathom that with cheating so readily tolerated that new cheating is such a big deal. Maybe all this energy would be better focused on fixing the old cheating, eh?

Here's a question for you:

How many pro players wipe, or know that their teammates wipe and tolerate it?

How's that for a conspiracy?
