You also have to remember that our tax money doesnt just disappear, where our taxes get spent on stuff like the Army and MI5 etc etc yours does not and i hope im not being insensitive by mentioning the horrible internal inteligence cock up of Sep 11th, but perhaps a bit more taxation and spending on public services by your government.... maybe it would have been different.

Sorry mate but that just ain't true... the USA has a far far bigger Defence budget than we do.... their intelligence agencies and military are far better equipped etc

im not trying to be mean or anything and if people take offence ill delete my post. however it was mentioned at the time that the american secret services had really dropped a bollock and they claimed they were seriously under funded.

but killer onion is saying we should stop paying vat, at the moment the UK is quite rich for its size, and spends alot of money on public serivces (for its size) and if we just stoped the country would grind to a halt.


If everyone else agrees with onion then go ahead and lobby the government to stop taxes and make us all into paintball gods, but i think youd be wasting your breath.
