Trigger Bounce Redux..... Rules anyone?

Note that the rule doesn't say a ref can't test the gun 10 times in a row if he wants to - only that if he does get it to bounce, he needs to be able to repeat that bounce in the next two series of tests.

The Matrix I ahd this weekend, it took me 3-4 tries to get it to bounce, but once I did, I could reliably get 6-8 balls out of it for one pull. A player who is trying to cheat and knows his marker will easily be able to hit that point, even if it takes teh ref a few tries to get to it.

indeed you are correct, a player wishing to use bounce cos they ain't got game could probably find it when they needed it. i don't! i just want to make my marker impossible to bounce, and therefore show that i don't need advantages?? like this to be able to shoot fast an accurate. Problem is you either completely screw the nice feelin trigger or slow your gun down so that we might as well all go back to pumps!

here's one for you......

My fellow player who uses a eblade, unmodified out of the box, played friday, no prob, saturday no prob, then on sunday was checked for trigger bounce by a crono marshal who pulled the trigger so slow until it got a kickback and bounced a couple of times,( remember this is a standard eblade out of the box )

In practise all eblades could be made to bounce !!!!

The best bit is, he put the gun on the floor next to mine and ran off to get another gun. I was called to crono, so i picked up his gun and gave it to the same crono judge, who did the same test and passed the gun fit for the game, all this happened within 1 minute. When our player came back he used my gun for chrono and all was well......

Explain why that happened ? Same judge, same gun, same time,
same crono, same everthing ! the question is did he not like my mates face or was happy that he had caught his man.....and proved his point...

i got pulled up after a game on the RPS field for bounce, (this was after i got 1 4 1nd and booed for kicking a pot  ) the marshel said to me your firing pretty quick player gimmie your gun, i handed him the gun and he tried like hell to get it to bounce, luckily for me it didnt, but he still tried loads and seemed a bit anoyed that he couldnt get it to bounce.
I also pissed around with a IR3 trigger which after ajustment bounced like crazy im talkin full auto if u held it right.
My point is, surley the odd extra ball is nothing to worry about, where as the guns that blaze off into full auto are the ones the marshells should be looking for.
It seems to me that the real issue of the bounce rule has been totally forgoten - SAFETY!!!! players who are marshelling should use their common sense with this rule.

My featherlite is brand new, as such it has a lil bit of kick till it beds in. I discovered that if I double tapped it quickly it would go into run-away as in firing full whack by itself  had to make the trigger pull longer which stopped the run-away but I could still find a point where it could bounce.
Luckily the viking has a debounce setting so could sort it out! :)

So to stop a top end markers trigger bounce, you have to effectively put a resistance or time delay between the pull and the release of the trigger.

Why not just cap the bps to 10 bps and say sod the trigger bounce rule.

I know, i can shoot faster than that without bounce, but if this small amount of bounce is going to get called all the time, to stop this minimal bounce altogether, the trigger mechanism will have to be delayed, so that it can't return quick enough to create bounce.

Whatever, this needs looking at, because everyone is at each others throats here, players are having a go at marshalls, and marshalls rightly so are saying these are the rules, shut up.

Guys, do something.
