the best thing to do would be to go to a local field / tourny and ask to have a go on teams guns..

Sponsored teams should have no problems with this as they should go about promoting their sponsors gear.

If you ask anyone from MK storm they should let you try their gun in the shooting range. (I know this guys in canada but this goes for the UK contingent of the forum)

3. tippmann m98 (the 98c's are for show offs)

the brass eagle has the longest trigger pull but its so light you can pull it with just the one finger easy, it has a double finger trigger tho and when you use both fingers you can get like 4 bps! youl need a revvy.

But even the last 3 years seems to have changed alot, as cockers used to be one of the top guns, with angels and shockers and impulses. Now, People seem to be steering towards the Electronic guns, which I was always concerned over, due to the fact that if the electronics messes up, Id not know how to fix it. Im hearing things like "Cockers have to many moving parts" sounds like what we said with the VM 68.

Im looking for overall performance though, including reliability, ease of repair, how common techs are to find for that gun, parts, accuracy, rate of fire, etc etc.
Just about every electro gun out there will still cut it in tourney these days providing it can ramp to 15bps and doesn't break paint, but is it still fashionable to use one?
the cocker is a good example of paintball fashion trends as they are simply no longer the "IN" gun, but come out on the field with me and i'll show you they can still cut it with the rest. There's not usually anything particullaly wrong with a marker it just becomes unfashionable.
The problem here is that you have asked a question that no-one can honestly give a true answer too, an ego owner will hate angels, the angel owner hates DM's, and we all start off in a big bun fight as to what is best, based on no justification whatsoever. All gun parts are available, we never maintain them enough, our own gun is always the most accurate, and firing is capped so that's that, oh and ask the bloke who says he can rip to 28bps to do it while being on target using paint:mad: :(
All guns mentoned here are the best.....it's the players that let them down;)
