Now wouldn't that be a doozie, it would make Chicago very happy indeed and the only time you are ever gonna see this happen in the short to mid term is when somebody loses an eye (or another serious injury) and all the tournament organisers and manufacturers start running for cover from the impending lawsuits.
No doubt, in such an event, the industry rhetoric will be equally sickening in endeavouring to assume the moral high ground as it is in allowing all this to happen in the first place.

Ex-Fun Police
I'd like to take a moment to re-introduce the notion of the NXL's answer to all this as it is a functional policy that actually goes a grest distance to handling these issues.
Both concerns leveled at the TT's in this thread would be effectively policed in the NXL. It simply isn't possible (or desireable given the penalties involved and the likelihood of being caught) to get away indefinitely with either ROF cheats or velocity cheats as the NXL has effective means of determining both and can do so on the break and during game play without the individual player being aware he is being checked.

If the MS was prepared to write both straightforward rules and invest in the existing equipment to police those rules you would be in a much better place than you all are today, ramping or not.

Even in a semi only universe (whatever that might be) velocity ramping can be caught. You just have to spring for the equipment and larn somebody how to use it.

The only thing really missing from this equation is the will to act.

Well actually what I ment was that when your bolt o-rings are as they should you wont gain anything with ABS. But with spoolvalves every o-ring and bolt is somewhat different.

It has nothing to do with orings it is all based around pressure and volume

run a shocker with a dwell with input at 210psi at 290 fps then up the dwell and u will see quite a difference in velocity
