Don't you read internet forums? Everyone knows that Cockers, like pumps, are far more accurate and also shoot further than other guns...

And isn't accuracy a by-product of consistancy & ball/barrel match?!?

Paul.

We all know

That there faster markers out there (XMAG/IR3 etc etc) and that there maybe more accurate markers as well, but when you add up the simplicity/accuracy/speed and sheer Ooo/Ahh factors, the Eblade is just the dogs bollox, case closed :D

I think that is a VERY valid point. I am very interested in the e-blade as a product, but that is more than likely because it is having SO much smoke blown up its arse!

A teammate is having one fitted at the moment so I am looking forward to having a go (provided I can get it from his hands at some point!) and finding out how much is hype and how much isn't.

I simply don't understand all this talk of accuracy with regards to the cocker/e-blade, as Paul has pointed out - isn't this down to a good paint and barrel (and match between the two).

Or are people just referring to the fact that it is a stable platform etc so easier to hit targets?

I also worry with the e-blade about all the pipes hanging off the front - isn't it a bit easy to twat them when sliding into bunkers etc?

And the price!! Feck me - I thought IR3's were dear (around £800 all in) but we are talking over a grand for an e-blade.

Still maybe I will eat humble pie when I've had a test. Anyone had a go of one that wasn't impressed?

One thing people forget to mention

regarding accuracy, is the platform you are firing from, you could have THE most accurate barrel, and perfectly round unblemished paint, but if you are try to hold it with chopsticks, then the balls will go everywhere (pretty ****e analogy, but you get my point)

The auto cocker fires, then the bolt goes off on it travels to reload, and the kick you get from it is after the ball has left the barrel (pretty much) so it is a stable platform to fire from, hence the accuracy. This is the way I see it anyway.

(I will now bury my head back in the sand, and wait for someone who does know what they are on about to kick me up the arse)
