I think the possibility of a feature such as a bps counter is very real. Soon (dunno when) the computer link cable will come out, thru this u'll be able to upgrade the firmware, soa simple feature like BPS could be added. Maybe i'm just silly, but personally i'd like to be able to change the 'boot up' text from Version 1.06 to somehing more personalised... Theoritically its possible.

I love the grips, the feel is fantastic, but there is room for improvement. If they sealed the inside from the elements better that would be a good plus. I think if they made the back (inside) of the grips hard then this could help seal the unit better. As well as this it would remove my minor issue that the grip can be squiged in. By this i mean, if u take ur e-blade :D and on the right side push the grip in where the liney bit meets the smoother area. Personally i dont like the way it buldges in here, from a simple ergonomics perspective but also it opens up a bit more of a gap at the edge near the trigger.

Aside from these minor points it is super sweet.

PS: Oh also the ability to mount the sensor eye on a right feed cocker would be much apreciated eclipse.... please. I spoke to Jack and he said they were thinking/working on it, but he cant say for certain due to the level of demand. Its an important issue for those with older cockers who want to fit the 'Greatest Autococker Upgrade, EVER!' tm to their markers.

had a go on some german guys e-blade today, and when ppl say that you have a smile after using one, its very true. that marker was sweeeeet as a nut. i am getting one, whether its the last thing i do.
i would recommend getting the actual eclipse eblade cocker. coz its all set up, looks damn nice and is very light. or even an eclass orracle. unless you are a complete whizz kid with cockers, its just easier, and ready to blast away.

i most definitely want one

At the risk of repeating comments made in other threads, don't overlook the Racegun in the lemming rush for an e-blade. Not that I'd expect many teething problems with the e-blade, the Race is an established product and due to a quirk with exchange rates or something it's cheaper to convert than ever before.

I've got no axe to grind with the e-blade. I guarantee that whichever way you go electro with your cocker, the smile will last as long as your paint does!

Get one with a vertical feed. As noted by others, the breech sensor cannot be installed on a right feed cocker. Also, look at the layout of the front block. Not all cockers are constructed the same way. A Mac Dev or System X cocker front block has the LPR connected with a special banjo bolt to the center of the front block where the banjo bolt usually is. These markers will need a new front block.
If you have a right feed cocker, I still recommend it (the E-blade). Even without the eye the E-blade is a great convenience to timing and shooting tons of paint fast. I have to say, on that note, that my paint consumption has not gone up much, if at all. I play front mostly, and before, I would lean out and rap off 4-5 shots and come back in when snap shooting. I still do, but in half the time. It feels like the game slowed down to half speed, but maybe that's just me.
You can always take it off and put it on a new cocker, too. Although the old one will be marked with those two holes if you install the breech sensor.
