Well I bought a spanky Red to Black fade eBlade and used it properly for the first time @ the indoor..............boy it rocks, did`nt chop the entire weekend, shot far more paint than I ever did b4 and it is accurate as f*ck :D
Not only has it persuaded an Angel owner to convert back to cockers, alot of my teamates think it roxxors too :)

Thanks for the Input

Planet Eclipse is always responsive to constructive criticism and to that end -

1) The right hand feed version of the breech sensor has been in use on my Mini Cocker since November, performed flawlessly this weekend at the Euro Indoor (we won!) and will be available soon.

2) A new version of the grips is being prototyped. This version addresses all of the criticism of the old grips (too square / soft / floppy) and we will not release these until we are totally happy with them.

3) Black cocking solenoid manifolds are available in short supply. Place your order in time for the next production run.

4) The new Eclipse eBlade Cockers will come with an improved (metal) breech sensor cover, however it is difficult to produce a cover that will fit all Cockers as there are so many different versions, hence the 'flexi' design of the existing cover.

---

Everything should be as simple as possible.... and no simpler - Albert Einstein.

This was our philosophy when we designed the eBlade, however it seems that not everyone agrees with us - you gadget freaks :) So, we will be releasing firmware versions that will give you what you want, including a customisable power up display (check out the Nexus guns for cheesy signatures).

Don't ask when these versions will be available cause we don't know yet - some time this summer.

7lash - i heard somewhere, cant remember where that there will be a warp interface as standard on eblades soon?

also ive seen mention of a talking game timer or summut?

am i going potty?

...one idea i do like that i saw somewhere was a max speed reached read out. ie it will flash up your fastest shot in bps. has no use other than showing off to everyone...but hey thats reason enough aint it? could be done in the software i think

cheers

Finally got to use my Eblade this weekend, boy did it rip.

Fast, fun and roughly a bazillion times better than my old cocker, it took whatever I could throw at it (mud, puddles and several large tires). No chops just accurate paint hurling at stupid speeds.

One word to the wise though, be carefull if you suddely decide to tweak the trigger feel in your living room by fireing into a large re-inforced & padded bin - Women go *really* mad if they come home from the gym and find you trying to scrub a huge pink stain out of the white carpet.

E-Blades f'kin rule the world

Got shut of the Angel (awesome gun as she was) due to re kindled love of cocker after using Skidders old slide trigger Eclipse again so ordered an E-Blade and will be using in mid March.

Borrowed Okeymons at the Indoor, didn't break any paint (except once which was my fault) and absolutely rained it. These guns rock big time and for cocker lovers who are a bit edgy over the old 'it won't feel like a real cocker though' mentality believe me, they are every bit a cocker.......on performance enhanced drugs.

Buy one, you will shoot more people.

Oh, you will also win trophies, we did. :D

My only concerns with 'e-cockers' are timing issues, My old cocker used to slip out of time occasionaly and that was with it firing at relativley slow speeds now that the ability to fire alot faster is there doesn't this mean more timing hassles?

Also I notice alot of people commenting about speed and accuracy, Now I don't wanna piss on anyones parade here but they really aint that fast, certainly faster then a mechanical cocker but thats a given, but any decent open bolt will blow it away speed wise.
And isn't accuracy a by-product of consistancy & ball/barrel match?!?

Paul.
