From FON:
"Just like everyone said it...dynasty unfairly got the win.
Yes, the Russians are in the loser’s bracket after a dramatic game against Dynasty that just ended.
Dynasty scored the fist point of the match but from then on the Russians had the lead until the end. Dynasty never let them up by more than 2 points keeping themselves in the game. Early in the second half, a scoreboard error cost the Russians a clearly well earned point and overall the possibly match. The Russians had three players alive on the field and Dynasty was down to none. Their coach had flag in hand ready to throw it in when and the scoreboard hit the buzzer stopping the game. The coach however had not yet thrown in the flag. Though the Russians had three players alive and could have hung the flag, they ceased play upon hearing the buzzer as they should. I mean that’s what it’s for, to cease play. The score keeper admitted to the mistake but as I have been told, according to the rules, the error can not be corrected by awarded the point to the Russians. I am still working on identifying the rule but Rosie is currently unavailable.
This confusion put reflected in the Russians play. With less than 5 minutes left in the game, the Russians had a player pulled for a gun and given a 5 minute penalty. They had to play with 4 for the rest of the match. However, after scoring one point more with one body up on the Russians, Dynasty also was given a 5 minute penalty and had a player pulled. So for the last few minutes it was a 4 on 4 match where Dynasty tied the game and went ahead by 1. Ahead that point and in the last minute of the game and with the Russians down to two bodies, Dynasty sat on em and killed the clock getting the win.
The controversy over that lost point grew dramatically as it would have changed the way Dynasty played that last point ad eventually the outcome of the game. This leaves the Russians one extra game to get back to the finals to face Dynasty again. They will play the winners of the game being played right now between Infamous and the Naughty Dogs."
