Pete, you're absolutely right but they started out against a team that many have picked as the probable winner. It will indeed be interesting to see if RL are a quick study. Whatever the case it won't be easy. I'm sure they've turned some heads.Originally posted by Robbo
RL beat Lanche 9 to 8 in overtime.
I just spoke to Ed and he told me it was a close run thing with the Russkies tieing the game in the dying seconds.
I wonder if the Russkies are gonna pick up momentum as they continue through this tourney coz if they don't and they are getting results relevant to their standing amongst the other teams, then what does this say about us teams over here who played in the EXL ?
Hmmm, food for thought indeed !
No fudge here (I wish) but it is true I've given you some very generous odds. I still think the Russkies will pull it off. I think they've got the capacity to adjust. The big challenge, however, will be adjusting to the often pure nastiness of the opposition and to a, well, different judging situation. An they have to keep a really thick lucite shell against the crowds around them. I'm sure they have already picked up a great deal of respect and some fans.Originally posted by sjt19
Steve lay off the fudge, will mean no munchies in the time between now and Malaga
Still think that the Legion will be defeated by the likes of Infamous, or Dynasty, or XSV or Lanche again or the ND.....
