To bad...

That dude with the buzzer should be sacked :)
But I still think that RL will beat Infamous and play Dynasty again in the finals. But no matter what Dynasty really proved themself by beating RL. I didnt think it was possible this year..

Sorry yall that i didnt do a write up but looks like FON kept ya informed. As yall know RL lost to Dynasty 9-8.We were runnin a game at the time but the Legion was up 6-4 at half and Jerry Braun said it should have been more. The next time i had to look it was 8-6 in RLs favor but the had a 5 min on the board and there was still 4 min to play. That was about all the info i had for ya on that game sorry but yesterday was a bad day for me.Lots of yellin and screamin and i was being pummled alot and by the end of the day all i wanted was food shower bed in that order didnt even call my wife who will probably cut my head off when i get home redneck women are fierce.Hopefully ill have more info for ya today but check FON site out he should be up to date for he has net acess there.

Just nabbed this quote off FON too,

Well the Naughty Dogs lost to Infamous just after the Dynasty game and on he same field. Infamous won by three but the Naughty Dogs felt that they had two points taken away from them. One in particular where a player was called clean, so he hangs the flag only to have a different ref deny the point for a hit on the player. Understandably they were upset by the loss so it may have reflected in their comments after the game where Mama Dog ( Rocky's Mom) said if the reffing is like this in Orlando, they will not play.

The result pits the Russian Legion against Infamous for a second time for the rights to play Dynasty in the finals. Also, to follow up on the lost point earlier, it seems there is no specific rule to that effect and the head ref had the control over the call. He could have corrected it simply awarding the point at the time but due to miscommunication or understanding of the rules, the call stood.

Look's like the refs are doing a great job??????

Either way, the Russians will be playing Dynasty again here shortly.

That may be the first time I've heard a team complain about one of their players being allowed to run around the field wearing a hit. :p

News from Warpig:
"More news for the NXL players and franchise owners came off the field as it was announced by Dick Clark Productions that a TV deal for the league had been agreed upon. This announcement came approximately one year after Dick Clark Productions announced at the Philladelphia Open that they had agreed to represent the National X-Ball League in an effort to get an NXL television show into production and on air. As contracts were still in the process of being completed, DCP was limited in what they were able to say, but league commissioner Mike Ratko confirmed that the deal is in place to have the NXL on the air before the end of 2004, and not just on cable, but on one of the “big 5” broadcast networks.
