I personally think the problem started when peeps put there gats up for the price they wanted and because no one was interested at the time the sellers start doing silly things!
And because no ones interested, rather then hold out for a few more days or a week or so the sellers start knocking the price down in like 50 quid intervals! Now the problem now is that people have realised this factor and are holding out until the sellers cant be bothered and just say a ridiculous price for what there selling! Like what bush is doing with his angel (no offense mate)...

Now because of this the prices have just sat and are not going to go back up for a while i think!

I personally dont think that the ion has had anything to do with this problem and even if it has i dont think its done much!

uh huh i agree this was happening last year before ions came out, it started with cockers and impulses alone being hard to shift...but now no one wants anything :s

lowball offers are only being increased by a number of people who keep going on threads in the classiffieds and saying "whoah man thats far too much, i could get one for X amount (significantly lower)", or the favourite remark, someone asked £400 for an Angel, a Rasta Fly or something, someone said (3rd post on the thread) "one went for £200 last week on here." which is just malicious. theres no need for it, and people stir **** just because theyve got nothing better to do.

the ions will have made it a little worse, but only a little, because they are new markers, and theyre cheap, so people, thinking that theyre a good cheap alternative to an Angel or a timmy, will go for a new ion, instead of buying a 2nd hand marker like a £150 IR3 or something which noobs would have done before the ion came out

what really gets me is the nexus cockers.

going for £300 and less??? i mean come on folks this was a £1250 marker less than a year ago, considered the best of the best by many..................

also people getting back door discounts on sponsorship team deals is knocking the prices down. the old one "my mate plays for team x and he can get me one on the cheap........"

i also would love a nexus ego, however my joy will do me fine until they start popping up 2nd hand.

i was gonna buy a nexus cocker a while ago for £550, now for £300!! sheesh. Its really annoying now whenever i have over £200 i wanna buy a new marker cos they're all so cheap. Buyers love it at the moment, until they have to sell to get a new marker.
